Hello, I'm not that familiar with effects and visual things so I'm just looking for the name of a function that I could use for making a glow effect, similar to that in left 4 dead around players. Thanks.

In gmod 12 you just have to google render.SetStencil to find dozens of script.

They way it works is rather complicated though.

In gmod 13 garry implemented these, rather shit though.

You can try this. It will probably need some fine tuning to work however.
