Black ops 2 will obviously follow modern warefare's idea of innovation and add like 5 new guns perks and maps. I will agree black ops had ALOT of innovation (for cod) though.

"effort" = making map/weapon/player models, infinity ward had to make the initial effort with modern warfare 1

now it will turn into the MW series, where it's just a rehash of the same things each year, why would they go to to the "effort" of making new assets when they know that stupid bro gamers will buy their game regardless?

To fuel the fire; they aren't going to bother making a new scoreboard either. They will make the same scoreboard with different icons. Sends a kind of bad signal. A dev asked me for help on that.

MW2 and MW3 are the same, gameplay wise, except MW3 tries harder to be serious, making it a bit less fun.

I forgot MW3 also had riot shields. But yeah, other than that, the shader overlay and map design is different.

Rehashing doesn't matter and I wish you guys would get that through your thick skull, what matters is nothing but if its fun and interesting, and they don't need to change the gameplay style and everything every game to make it interesting. Black Ops does try to be interesting, and I believe MW does as well.

But it's not interesting anymore. I was interesting back in CoD4 but doing the same stuff over and over again stopped being interesting a long time ago.

That's your opinion though. Clearly the increasing sales show that a lot of people disagree with your assertion and still find the game very interesting.
