Already adding a map for DLC? Seriously? Rockstar, come on.

I know they want to keep people playing, and keep it interesting with added more maps maybe per month, but that gets tedious after awhile.

I just hope the release date with the PC, compared to the consoles, means that it was developed on console in mind.

Also how in the christ is this game near 40GB of HDD space?

Honestly, it's not even a open world game, nor is it that VERY detailed.

I'm a bit skeptical, I loved max payne one and two. This, just doesn't seem right. Hell, RAGE was half the size of this and -when- it's textures weren't popping it looked very nice(distance views).

This is a linear shooter, with a little bit of multiplayer, how the hell is it so big in file?

    Not compressed?

Not really shocking, RDR got the same amount of packs and LA Noire had a season pass aswell.

Maybe they should do like they did with Red Dead Redemption and make the first DLC free.

Am I reading this wrong or are they seriously charging $30 for a map pack?

They were probably forced to do this as the original game couldn't fit all of this in the Xbox 360 disc, so they had to make it even for everybody on all consoles.

    Edited:

And quite honestly, you guys act like because they're announcing DLC beforehand, that, when release, are going to be absolutely horrible.

@DaraH46 @hurricane43 @ArmoredTeeth Max Payne 3 the game itself is pretty much finished, as it’s coming out in just two weeks. All of this new DLC that we’re announcing is still in development. This is definitively not content stripped from the original game, this is all new stuff still being created for post-release.

@CDTOE-1809 @Jonwils @ZigZagstory @MaxPayne1983 @batik89 @-THU31- We’re also planning on some free downloadable goodies for you guys too – but trust that in usual Rockstar fashion, these paid DLC Packs will each be very high value and very fairly priced
