Just a simple avatar request thread if you don't know how to make custom avatars or are too lazy to do so. Not necessarily have to be animated

Since you guys are so friendly here at Automotive Addicts, I have decided to give back what little I can offer. With my skills, I can make you guys avatars, even animated ones. I don't think it's fair Gold Members get all the glory. Automotive Addicts subforum dwellers only, kindly walk through the exit gate if you're from some far away land


Rules are still the same as Gold Member's:
-Just remember the avatars have limits of 80x80 and 102.4kb in size only.
-YouTube videos to avatars are easiest to make but please specify where specifically in the timeline you want the avatar to show. (Keep in mind limits, only a short scene).
-You are welcome to help fulfill avatar requests and help out if you must.
-No restrictions to content you wish to request, just follow FP rules. Automotive related would be preferred though.

That depends on what browser you're using. There's the "Facepunch Avatar UnCache" extension for Chrome, but I don't know for others.

After enabling the extension, all the drifting can be seen.

Mind if i ask how you do this? You can PM it to me if you'd like, to avoid clutter in the thread. I'd like to dick around with it rather than waste your time dedicating yourself to a single one i more than likely won't like right away.

You use a program like Virtual Dub to select individual frames from a video, and either export them as a .gif or a folder of every frame and edit/resize each frame.

At least, that's how I do it.

I think you need to be using Firefox or Chrome to see the supported APNG format

I'm not exactly sure what the file limit is for blue members, could you kindly tell me so I could make you an appropriate one? I know Golds get 102.4kb

Blue members can't use GIFs but they should be able to use the APNGs. But they don't work in anything besides Firefox.
