    That puddle jumper model is awesome! just a tiny thing the rear door, i believe it is a bit rounded in the uper corners...
    As far as i can see that is the best puddle jumper model i have seen in facepunch! Congratulations!

    There is only one door at the back of the Jumper.

    I was thinking of redoing my jumper model myself, so that I could cut it into pieces when I'm done and when the sent got to 0 health, then it would have the bang and several pieces of the jumper would fall to the ground, and fade away after around 30 sec. That seems like a good idea, or at least I was planning to do this when I got more time.

    Edit:
    Looks quite good so far, and how do you plan to texture it when you get to that point?

    Very cool, just a request but could you add some sort of limited power supply, because in many episodes, particularly in Season 2 Grace Under Pressure They stated that extended use of the shield on a jumper (would also be a good idea) drained the jumpers power source quickly, implying that it had a limited power source?

    There is no intention of giving the jumper a shield, though if i did i would indeed make it like that.

    To be honest, I've considered it.

    Then I decided the Daedalus was easier.

    That was amazing. Nice use of the Matrix lobby-scene music.

    The part where the jumper was hovering in front of the "cameraman", occasionally firing drones at him.. reminds me of those old boss battles, like on Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire, for the N64. (Specifically when fighting Boba Fett's Slave I.)
    Anyway. That's pretty damn cool. I can't wait to play with the new features.

    The only suggestion I can really think of (and I had to wrack my brain for this) is to change how the drones are fired. My idea would be to have little panels on the sides open up, and have the drones shoot out.
    I know there was a bit of a discussion on exactly where those panels are; I think they might have been inside the wing-panels, after they opened, but I can't remember. It's also possible that the panels are just in front of the wings. You could just make it that way, if you so desired.

    When you exit the jumper, could you make it so that instead of spawning on top of the ship you actually spawn inside it? I'm no lua god so I can't know if that's possible.

    Like I said, I'm modeling for two weeks now and I have no idea of textureing I still have to learn many things.

    I use C4d (Cinema 4D) but I could save the projeckt as .3ds that wouldn't be a problem.

    At first: the window is too small yes but I worked on other things last night so that I couldn't fix it but I will do.

    Second: Yes. it would be better if I make an own thread (But where?) and I'm sorry for posting my stuff in someone others thread I only made this because this was a puddle jumper thread and I was modeling on a puddle jumper so that was the best place to get quick feedback.

    A little suggestion, make the jumper a bit more oval, it's too round.

    Improving on an already awesome jumper.. you're a miracle worker. (Or insane, I can't decide which.)</humor>
    Either way, I really like the jumper. Most of my goofing-around in GMod seems to center around it, lately.

    i can't evean get it to show up in my game.

    you have to put the puddle jumper v2a folder in the garrysmod/addons Dir.

    And ingame you can spawn it over the Entitis menu.


    Edit:

    I made it a little bit taller but that didn't looked good so I changed it back again.

    Has anyone got the auto-targeting to work for the drones on votekick's jumper? I'm trying to figure it out, but it seems when I do it, I just hit my self in the butt each time, any help?

    You need to get a target finder set up to target what ever you want then hook a beacon sensor set to out put GPS to it. Then hook the X Y Z on the jumper to the X Y Z on the beacon sensor. Also if you do not have a target locked in the target finder do not hit the track button or it will hit you.

    Just make it in Models name it Puddle Jumper in progress or something.

    Love in the new jumper votekick, it so much easier to go threw the gate using strafe and hover.

    One thing I mite suggest though would it be possible to tilt the camera view up a little so you can see in front of your jumper instead of having to zoom into the cockpit view?

    I did the modeling, all i can do about the coding as far as flight and handling is make suggestions, Light Demon will most likely see your post, but it might be best to address him.

    Just in case people didn't get that, V2b has been released, hover flight ect, download link on main post.

    So how does one zoom the camera in and out on v2b, wouldn't be so bad if the cam was placed at the front of the cockpit but right now it's placed in the center of the jumper, kind of annoying. I have pretty much supported your puddle jumper mod up until now but having to use wiremod to get the puddle jumper to work fully is a downer in my opinion, i have nothing against wiremod, don't get me wrong there, it's just i think you could implement those features into the jumper without the use of wiremod or having to download another mod to get it to work is all, this is just my opinion, upper on fixing the window texture though, nice one there. I'll continue to follow this mod but right now i am sticking with v2a.

    The Camera placement has not changed since Version 2a, the flight controls, if you however prefer V2a this is understandable.
