Just wondering, how bad are the WalMart Spring guns if you're starting out in airsoft?
Just wondering, how bad are the WalMart Spring guns if you're starting out in airsoft?
Still very.
Just for future reference, please use the questions thread. The sticky hasn't been updated in ages.
Is this kit: http://www.fire-support.co.uk/produc...i-sas-12-clear
worth getting for general fucking around (seems to be quite high powered for such a low price)?
No
Have fun when your BBs go everywhere except where you aim and then the pump breaks off.

Hmm, do any Chinese shops ship there? No doubt the shipping costs would be ridiculous, but that may be my best bet.
the sas 12 is a pump only spas 12
LAW-12 was cooler

Probably gonna get this:

Worth it? It's on sale right now.
Oh, and use google translate or something![]()
Some of the guns on that site are twice the price they are in Canada, which is bad. I guess I'm never going to Sweden.
Well, for reference let me say that a JG G36C costs about 1800kr here. Try to make a judgment out of that instead.
I know stuff is expensive here.
Well if a JG G36 already costs that much, I'd probably just go for a G&G M4.

That's too expensive for meI'd prefer it to be under 2000kr.
This FAMAS may be good.

It's a clone of the Marui FAMAS, which is literally impossible to break. You have to be trying to break it. Since it is a clone the quality won't be as high, but they are still pretty durable as long as you don't start screwing around with them. My JG M16 lasted for almost four years without any maintenance before it had any problems, and the problems only started after I had to open the gearbox because it locked up, but that's kind of my fault because I was firing 100 round bursts![]()
Just asking, what makes that worth it over the MP5?
Eh, I'm kind of new to airsoft - but i do know a fair amount of handgun knowledge.
I have NO IDEA wat do when it comes to AEGS.
Do you guys think that a KWA USP MATCH is good for a first airsoft weapon?
Handguns aren't really reccomended. What kind of rifle do you like? M4, AK, G36, or M16?
M4sthinking of getting one from ICS.
How much money are you willing to spend?
Somewhere around 250.
Ok, keep in mind you have to buy magazines, a battery and charger, goggles, and such. Is that $250 for a gun alone, or for everything?
I'll probably invest 100 more for the external stuff except the battery & charger.
Ok, cause you can get a nice M4 by G&G for $140. It's plastic, but it is the best plastic on the market. AirsoftGI has a video of them dropping it repeatedly from an 8 foot ceiling with no damage.
try that with pot metal gun lol
I'd want a full metal m4, but it's my first rifle - should I invest more for the strength?
G&G's full metal M4 is $270. KWA's M4 is $300, and revered as one of the best M4s. The Combat Machine M4 (Plastic) will be fine as a first gun. It's the most recommended M4 to new guys.
I'd be purchasing weapons manufactured by KWA in the future, heard that they were really good.
Nothing wrong with getting something good the first time, right?
Definetly not, KWAs are awesome. And it may take longer to save up for their M4, but it will last much longer than a cheaper gun. So I guess KWA M4 it is?
considering i'm young, i can save up a lot and learn in the years before I can go to a airsoft skirmish.
Seems like the first sensible starting airsofter i've seen in a long time that has'nt popped the idea "LOL DUDEZ I SHUD GET DA SNIPAR I WULD B SO ~1337~~!!!!11!!!!!!11!!!!!" I like you.
The fact that Ossumsauce likes you means you'll go far.
You will not believe the amount of crap I get for my gun being:
A. Not full metal
B. Not Tokyo Marui
Just goes to show how closed minded people are, not that I am referring to you, I like you already. As much as full metal is nice, the plastic combat machines will do you just fine if you want to play soon.
Yeah, i've seen CM M4s dropped through windows at ACQB and come out fine. It will serve you well as a first gun.
But...TMs are plastic...?
I think he means one or the other?
I think his airsoft community only accepts plastic guns that are TM
Be careful though, if you spend too much time here, you'll start looking like this:
