Guys, for the love of God, knock it off. This is why I don't do release dates. I work on this depending on my mood, and depending on what takes priority. This is getting out of hand, what's going on in this thread.
This thread is about Tremors, not furries, not any of the crap you're tangentially running to. It's crazy that every day I'm seeing about five new posts, and NONE of them had ANYTHING to do with the purpose of this thread. It was either whining that I haven't updated in a long while, declaring that I was never finishing this on my behalf, or babbling nonsense.

Alright, now to give some news. I've just checked with our dear texturer today, and he says the Shrieker skin has been worked on, and is in the finishing touches stage. It's as much a relief to me as you, I assure. I was starting to think he'd never get around to it, and I was contemplating making the Shrieker vid without the textures, which I don't want to do.
As to animations, work still to be done obviously, but now that I'm on Winter break, I have plenty of time with which to work.

i simply got pissed off and said that to shutup everyone for long enough for me to announce my conversion from furry to normal. and is silverlan really working on the Graboid? Because i have been working on a series of l4d-style melodies that would play when certain stuff happened, so the npc would be sorta musicle and scary. Like when it grabs you and pulls you into the ground ans eats you, a scary trumpet and piano thing goes off. Or when it is chasing you, a metal song plays. And when it dies, a guitar riff announces its death to all the players in the map. How does that sound?

Well Silver is coding it, but your idea for a soundtrack wouldn't be good for multiple npcs in the map.

i have already thought of that. I made a system that would keep the music from playing more than one at a time, and i tried it out on a bunch of Gargantua npcs, and it worked perfectly, so i doupt that it will be any different for the Graboid.

i also made a sent that acts like the ai director for l4d, and it watches the players and spawns antlions accordingly, just like the l4d ai director. Only problem is, i never set a limit to how much the thing could learn, and it is taking up 12 megabytes of my harddrive. FAIL. How do i set a size limit to how much new script it writes?

Thats the problem: THIS THING HAS GONE INSANE!!!!! I made the mistake of letting my computer run for a full hour with a bot controlling my guy in the zs gamemode, and the fucking ai director somehow managed to write a full fucking gigabyte worth of new data on how to kill me better. I have been working on a way to stop it from doing that, but untill then, it will not be realeased due to the learning speed errors.

I never said that it could "think" but i did say that it was learning at a fucked up pace of 22 kilobytes per minute. And it even addressed the problem of not enough space by deleting parts of its original code to room for new string base lines of codeing, most of which i cant read anymore because it is all in symbols now. And it is NOT insane, it is just doing what i programmed it to do, which is watch me and figure out how to kill me better.

You make all this awesome lua stuff, only to have a random hacker take control of your gmod.org account, you make an ai director that dynamically learns to better counter the actions of the player, but it magically learns way too much and brain fucks your computer, you make all this awesome music, but it gets caught in the brain fuck.
I always took everything you said with a little more than a grain of salt, but it's pretty clear you're fooling around 0% of the thread populace anymore.
