wow airsofting on a golf course looks so fun!!
That about sums up the experience. The field plays like one big chess match, and you need at the very least an effective team/fluid communication to get anywhere. Otherwise you die.

Right now a lot of plants are in bloom so there's more cover than at other times of year. Still, if someone gets higher ground than you, or takes up a position in better cover you're toast.

Some new footage from Finland guys! Also GBB SAW at the 12:00 area.

Excellent video. That SAW makes me jelly.

I've found two videos of my site. These aren't my videos.

The weather was fucking shit that day and I'm in the center of the screen at 00:13 with my FN2000.
I'm not in this one but you can see two of my team mates in the footage.
You can see Boomer our resident pyromaniac at 1:46 and Basher at 1:56 the oldest player on site at 53, he's one of our best defenders.
And finally here's a vid of our team Gaffa Razor

We've had STALKER games here in central Florida, but from the videos I watch, no one knew what it was or understood it. Apparently Freedom is US Marine Jarheads. =|

lol doom crew is kind of weird. that one guy that wears the white wig creeped me out that one time at CQB City in which we took the bank and he made a big deal over how "his plan worked" and he was like, exalting all over his pants. And then Ender and I just quietly exchanged raised eyebrows through our masks.

When we pulled into the parking lot next to Doom Crew's Decepticon car, Ender groaned and was like "Oh God, not these guys."

And that was my introduction to Doom Crew.

ARC Airsoft OP Black Dog Part 1. I was stupid enough to use my WE M4 for a field match, not the best of my ideas. Think I need to get an NPAS for this to make the shots more consistent. Part 2 is coming soon, much more action in it.

I am aviation man. I am a Kiowa Warrior helicopter crew chief, neither airborne qualified nor ranger q'd. It is all air assault here in ft. Campbell. Anyways, the answer to your question is that the Army is indeed looking to switch camouflage patterns, and multicam is one of the choices. However, they discovered that multicam was effective in Afghanistan so they started the "rapid fielding initiative" and started issuing multicam to soldiers deploying to Afghanistan. Since I am deploying, they issued me the multicam equipment. I believe that it is highly likely the Army is going to do a total switch to multicam. This will not happen, however, if our budget is cut further.

The military would have oodles of budget money to spend on the troops if they stopped spending like half of it buying pickup trucks and loads of other shit for Iraqis and Afghanis.

I've thought about enlisting many times, and I would, without a doubt, if we were fighting a legitimate war, but I have no desire to get myself killed so some rich fuck in Washington can get richer.

Well, just so you know, we don't buy loads of pickups for foreign nationals. Even if we did, it would be at the absolute last priority and minimal part of spending possible. They spend a lot on superior training and equipment for us. Also, our current mission is to provide safety and stability for Afghanistan. Hell, we are not even in Iraq anymore. Also, I am in a non-combat arms MOS, so the chances of me dying are pretty slim. The only thing that can get me is a lucky mortar round. My base point is that it takes a long time to switch uniforms to a new one. A lot of trials, manufacturers contracts, and slow conversion are the main reasons.

Obviously I was exaggerating, but my underlying point is that our lovely corrupt system wastes a shitload of money on unnecessary things and puts taking care of our troops as a last priority. Our troops are tied up with loads of red tape because some bureaucrat is mad that they're not making as much money (i.e. the stupid PMAG ban recently instated) and we don't even take care of them when they come back home.

you're all wrong multicam is a temporary measure and theyre having an entire camouflage series testing thing with like 4 different families of patterns AND ONLY ONE WILL SURVIVE

I have seen the camo patterns that they are testing, and some look pretty wild. There is one that is a mix between regular camouflage and honeycomb camouflage. There is another pattern that is digital, but it looks 3d ish, as in when you are looking at it it looks "deep". There is another that I cannot remember, and then there is multicam. It is in my strongest belief that the Army will choose multicam simply due to the fact that we already have a lot of multicam in stock, as well as equipment in multicam patterns, and that is the stuff that costs the most.

Yep. I think the Kryptek family one looks crazy, and it might work. I just hope the Army chooses the one that works the best instead of a pet project by some congressman. That is exactly how ACUPAT came to be.
