Hey guys! I have a question that I was hoping you guys can answer.
How much re-playability does D3 offer? will I be able to just go "dungeon diving" with friends/alone? if half way through the campaign I thought I just want to roam around kicking skeleton ass for example...

AFAIK you can re-play any quest you've already done from the main menu.

Related to the question above:
Are levels randomly generated only once per character/per difficulty level, or are they generated more often? I know there are random events which will probably keep things a little fresh, but do the dungeons constantly change?

Generated every time you log in.

To clarify what jiggu said, the map is generated every time you enter the game world with a character. When you're in a party with friends, you leave, they stay and you come back, the map will be the same with as much explored as before you left. If everyone from the party goes into a new world, map will be generated again.
There's a specific layout that the maps will have to match, with only the elements (dungeon entrances, objects, mob packs, objective locations) changing, as far as I know.

Never been interested in Diablo, really. I played the originals and they were alright, But this seems to have that polish that a lot of games lack. Like a real solid gem. I may just have to pick this up, but the issue I face still lingers:
Singleplayer experience, connection issues
I can barely play a round of World of Tanks without my tank taking off like Johnny5 just took the fuck over

I told my own girlfriend that I'd be busy Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday... Have something to do with her family on Friday (going to see a game of Family Feud) so I told her this weekend I'll hang out with her as much as possible and I wake up sick this morning. She hates it, but she understands it.

I just beat act 4 (LOD) on normal with /players 8 on...... In just under an hour. I dont remember act 4 being that damn short.

In the Beta, do I remember correctly that you could only join a quest/game if your character had already completed that quest?
How does that work with friends or any players, where neither have completed said quest, but player one is currently completing it, while player 2 is in the lobby?

Also - I want to hazard a fairly uneducated guess that Imperius is the final boss... annddd we fight him in the High Heavens after he disables/kills most of the Angiris Council after having broken through the diamond gates.
"The heavens shall tremble" - destruction/unrest in the heavens.. anyone else with me?
EDIT: Also that would be the coolest motherfucking thing ever. I would never get tired of boss runs if every time we need to kill a fucking angel!
Woah just a guess i had no idea that i was a legitimate spoiler.
Also, if what i said above is correct (which apparently it is) then this is the order of the bosses which we will fight.
4 acts, 4 bosses.
Act 1: Belial
Act 2: Azmodan
Act 3: Diablo
Act 4: Imperius
More speculation while I'm at it;
Maybe Imperius will 'trick' us into killing Diablo and subsequently use his black soulstone to take over the silver city..

Well, 3 waypoints and 3 quests, what did you expect. :p
I went through the whole thing with a friend of mine, but he didn't want to continue through the harder difficulties, so we grabbed a few runewords with the Hero Editor (we were playing LAN)...
He was playing necro, I was assassin. I told him NOT to go all out on skeletons. I can tell you, killing Diablo was a pain - to say the least. Was fun, though..

In open beta (which is the only beta I had access to), I managed to get to the dungeon just before Skeleton King with a fresh (level 1) Demon Hunter. I'm going to assume that's how it is going to be live as well.

Wow, way to screw over modders Blizz. Just as well i'm getting this game for free because of Mum's WoW, otherwise i'd have decided not to buy it. If I get it free, then I don't fund bad behaviour; thank god they decided to try and lure in/keep subscribers with the promise of a free game in exchange for an Annual Pass. The more value for money we get, the less power goes to feed The Beelzebob.
That being said, downloading as I speak; once the game comes out, and I get the login details, i'll be playing the game and seeing whether or not it was worth it. Funny how it popped up the morning after I started playing Path of Exile; it's as if it smelt the competition.

What? So they changed their stance about dark3d now? Because people were asking the support repeatedly and the answer was always somewhat around "we don't support anything like that. changing game files is against ToS and bannable." I don't think there is anything like "changing graphics" in ToS. Only "changing game files" and Jay thinks that dark3d changes game files. It doesn't.

1 day 9 hours 42 minutes left in the UK. Planning on staying up for 20 hours then sleeping so I wake up an hour or two before launch, can go to Tesco to pick up my copy and come back with plenty of time to activate it.

Your SP games are actually persistent until you switch your quest. I'm not sure on the specifics, but you should be able to have a private MP game that remains persistent with the creator of it if you never open it up to the public or change the quest.
