You can also walk, but its quite a trip. If you have no gear, it's easier to just get invited at the howl and suicide.

We are looking for 3 men/women (or if you want to be a man and women at the same time). CAPSALOT owns a 25 slot ventrilo that holds both CAPSALOT and Silron Valley (Sister/Brother town)

alright I have a bite more respect for capsalot but honestly what fun is PvP when you guys are the only people ACTUALLY taking it seriously and not "grind fs to 94 and build 800 dirt walls"

Man the newbie server is a damn ghost world.
I left near the eastern coast, and now I went all the way back to that central town to go to freedom, and on my way there, I only saw ruins of houses and fences...
It was nearly scary...

Go back in another six months, and there won't even be ruins.

The only reminder of a civilization long past will be the terraforming done to certain areas. Unnaturally flat plateaus, ramps and maybe the odd patch of cobblestone here and there.

I've only had the opportunity to be in one FP village (Port Serim) but it was probably the best time I've had in wurm. Shame it died only a month or two afterward.

Wurm is great and all, but I really hate the annoying "but it fails" messages I get every time I try anything. I'd say about 1/1000 times it works, the rest is the annoying message. Also, it takes a long time to make things, (Which can be good and bad I guess, Good to add challenge, bad when used on simple things and combined the with "failed" messages) Any suggestions to get me back in and motivated? I'd like to own my own deed so having to do the mundane task of repairing isn't needed, but I am to poor to pay right now.

Once you get your skills up to around 20-30 everything becomes easier.

That's what makes success in Wurm feel accomplishing far more than any other damn game, SHIT'S HARD MAN. This game don't babysit your ass, they throw you to the wolves at infancy.

Finding a nice spot to settle on Freedom Isles is tough. My pal and I have searched for three days and have been kicked out of two potential spots by neighbors. Passed Ultimarus yesterday, slowly making our way further North-East, hopefully into more remote areas.

You are on the west coast then? you arent going to find ANYTHING on the west or north coast. maybe on the southern or middle east coast.

Thanks but we found a pretty sweet place near the tundra farthest North. Lots of ghost towns, it's like the Black Plague hit Wurm.
