Primus is an American Rock Band composed of Singer/Bassist Les Claypool, Drummer Tim "Herb" Alexander, and Guitarist Larry LaLonde. Primus' sound is hard to classify, while normally being somewhat Funk-Metal or Alt-Metal, critics have said things such as "Thrash Fuck meets Don Knotts Jr." Their diverse sound has earned them fans in many different sub-genres of rock. Primus is known for strange lyrics and music, and Les Claypool's often amazing bass playing. Former members include Brian "Brain" Mantia and Jay Lane on drums and Todd Huth on guitar.

So guys, I know this isn't the best attempt at a megathread, but what do you think? What are you favorite songs, or albums. I think Primus is pretty comparable to Rush if you think about it. They made pretty progressive music, had one of the best bassists ever, and the drummer and guitarist for both bands are amazing.
