    'Ello, FacePunch!
Just this morning, I drove over to Fry's Electronics to see what they had. This HP FireBird really caught my eye, so I got it. The specs:

    Dual 9800 GT's. SLI ready.
    Liquid cooling.
Windows Vista Home Premium 64 Bit
    8GB of RAM.
    Intel Core 2 Quad CPU Q9400 @ 2.66GHz (4 CPUs), ~ 2.7GHz
    Acer 23" LCD Monitor. Max Resolution: 1920 x 1080.
    3 Year warranty.

I got that all brand new for $948.00.
Testing to see what games I can max out. :D

Could have done better for the price, but it seems like a nice computer.

    Actually, it's a horrid deal.
    The 9800GTs aren't 9800GTs, they're 9800S's, or the laptop equivalent of 9600GTs. 9600GT SLI performs on par with say, a GTX 260.
Good fucking luck upgrading that PC in a year when you want more power.

    What? It isn't a laptop. It's a desktop.
D: I am probably wrong. Just a little confused. But it IS a desktop.
Also, wtf. It says 9800 GT on the DxDiag window.

Well, it is still a pretty nice PC. It can run FarCry 2 totally maxed out at 50-70 FPS.

Crysis will probably destroy my computer, though. :O

Yeah, that makes sense. That's the only way they'd be selling it for $200 off.

    A 9800gt is a 8800gt but with 55nm, better than a 9600gt.
