When a warship targets you only, you tend to get destroyed in seconds. Everyone waits for one person to go and be the target and then they all rush in to take the kills.

I played the beta but never put in enough to get past the first ship, I enjoyed the game but I don't know if I should pre-order it

Yeh, you need to keep doing the Episodes otherwise you just get stuck in a rut of doing sector patrols.

When does open beta close, and when does head start start? Do I have until then to preorder?
Do you ever stop getting episodes? I hate sandbox MMOs.

I think it is Monday for the beta to close, and Friday for the headstart. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Server just went down for maintenance. Hopefully they'll fix that bug where your character falls to the bottom of the map then becomes your ship when you beam up. It's getting pretty annoying to fly straight up to get back where you were.

Just played 6 or so KvF space battles as Klingon in tier 2... Won every game, every person in team and assigning targets and waiting for the right time.

Sure feds ended up typing "wtb klingons" due to waiting but we wasn't going to fight on their terms :smug:.

over 120k damage per game too, glad firing rate with cannons is fixed.

So do you guys think the game is enjoyable? I'm not really familiar with the whole Star-Trek Universe except for like two movies. Would I find it interesting if I wasn't familiar with the lore?

Game is set ages after the TV shows so its not really necessary. The NPCs/Load Screens explain most of the in-world context.

Does anyone else miss their BOFs from the beta? I trained my new BOFs with similar abilities but its just not the same.

It's really huge compared to tier 3 cruisers too, and just a little shorter than a Sovereign, go back to the tiny little defiant at 31. Love the design of the Akira though.
