How do you obtain ships by ranking up? Currently I'm lieutenant and I was wondering what kind of ships are available to my rank and how do I obtain them.

The Reman shield you get as a reward from one of the FE missions does that, it isn't a glitch.

You'll need two officers of your position and one of each other position when you get your second ship to fill in the stations

I thought that you had to pay the play as a Ferengi, but I have access to them and a few other races that, according to the STO wiki, I should have to pay for. Is this normal?

I name them based on a few things, my "canon" ship is a Luna class named Luna, and any escort I use is named Normandy.

Mostly because my character's named Shepard, but that's a completely different note.

Mix and match. You'll be forced to based on the ship you choose, anyway.

The only one you have to pay for any more is the Federation Klingons.

I thought silver players were supposed to get 2 character slots? Why can I only make one.. I have a science officer right now to level 10 or 11 and it is pretty fun, but I kind of want to try tactical and engineer. Is the 2nd character required to be klingon? Haven't unlocked that yet.

Also, I keep running into this bug in ground combat where my abilities stop working. Has only happened in PvP so far, and it is really annoying. I was doing awesome in this one assault match (The one where you can deliver the virus to the enemies computer) and this guy on the other team was raging hard at me in chat, and i was lol'ing, but then my fucking abilities stop working and we slowly start losing.

Did you check to see if you had a debuff on you that stops certain abilities? also, I think it does have to be KDF, but I don't know for sure.

is there any way to go take a stroll down the interior of your ship? I kinda feel sad because I actually payed a miniscule amount of credits to make it nicer, but now I can't seem to find out if it's even there

Any tips on how to fly a space ship? I seem to be god damn horrible at that.. Is it better to stay a good distance away? I always end up getting too close and bumping into things..

I usually stay around 4km away and circle around firing broadside and turning to fire torpedos every so often.

Skilling up your speed subsystems will make this easier to do.

You get it from the Romulan Featured episode series. It is a Reman shield.

Also, when you fight solo, if at all possible drop turrets. Spreading out enemy fire is crucial to survival later on.

So, does a Facepunch Fleet exist? And can anyone who belongs to it and has invitation come on after maintenance and invite me to it? I got randomly invited into some other fleet but the people there aren't much fun, having people to play and chat with makes MMOs just so much more tolerable for me.

I think you gave us the wrong info, try typing in chat, you should see both your name and your handle there, something like "xXxGeNeRIcNamExXx@timmyloveshismom", the thing after the "@" is what we need, it's called the handle, or display name for Perfect World accounts

I couldn't beat the tutorial without wanting to kill myself. The animations are so terrible and buggy. Framerate has drops every 2 minutes for no reason.

The frame-rate was pretty unstable for me too during the tutorial, But I think it was due to all the files being downloaded during it because once they finished the game starting running quite smoothly.

Also for some reason disabling the HUD enabled seems to double the frame-rate for a lot of people. But leaving it disabled unfortunately isn't an option
