Yeah, the gear looks fantastic, the AK will look a lot better once it's more wood (maybe synthetics) and less rails.

I'm opting for a side rail mount, and removing the huge top rail. Then if I can, replace the handguards, stock, and pistol grip with something nice. If anything at least a matte black polymer sort of like the Akaban in STALKER.

Either my current Red Dot or a scope, I'd go authentic with a nice Soviet PSO scope, but that's a little too expensive.

You're mounting a scope on the side rails?

Also, an authentic PSO uses a dovetail mount that mounts onto the receiver, so you don't need rails.

They mount on the rail on the side of the AK. It's really secure.

"Rail" is misleading. It's this piece of metal mounted to the left side of the AK's lower receiver that it latches onto. There's no tactical rails involved.

Optics slide onto it, that's why AK series optics have that long arm to go to the side of the weapon.

Yes, but look at other video games. Multicam in Ghost Recon doesn't look like Multicam. Nothing in Rainbow Six looks like it does in real life. You can't make it look exactly like it does in real life, it's just a fact.

This is my load out for Halloween, Going with a Vampire, a bum, and WW2 Grunt, I'm guessing mines the strangest one for a 15 year old.
-NATO chem suit
-gp-7v w/ hose
-gas mask carrying bags.
- Carboard AK(I'm cheap)
- FINGER LESS GLOVES
- Boots (that don't fit.)

A bout $50 for a pretty simple load.

Heh, thanks whipped it up in a minute and turns out isn't too far off from the real thing. I finally got the chem suit and hose, I really like how it turned out. for 50$ you can't complain.
added some loner patches I printed and glued to cardboard, and used a guitar amp as a detector/radio.

Harbor Freight around here has gloves for 50¢. The dollar store is a great place too.
