There's like three million of these threads out there and i'm sick of reading them so i'm going to put the entire topic into one big thread.

So in this thread, and this thread ONLY, we shall ask each other to suggest some music based on our current tastes.

I'll start it off(i'm not really too interested in suggestions but it wouldn't be right without an example)

I listen to a lot of Mac Lethal a lot lately, any similar artists you can think of?

Well, this is kind of a bad idea, Because people ask for different genre, "Get me rap" "Get me rock" and there will be so much posts, people really won't keep up with that, and like other big threads, some requests usually get ignored.

Give these songs a listen during a rainy autumn day, and look through your rain pattered window into an overcast world as the melodies of Japanese noir sets the mood for a quiet, lonely, yet ultimately peaceful moment.

I listen to Rush, Yes, and King Crimson. Those are pretty big Progressive bands. What other progressive bands do you guys like? I listen to Dream Theater a bit too, and I'm open for Progressive metal.

Eminem was good. Now his humours washed and and all he caters to are the people who listen to the MTV Hits.

On the subject of the thread, I've recently been listening to a lot of Muse and Blur. You gotta' love Parklife!

Ok transfering my thread to this one:

Ive listed to Slipknot, loved Slipknot and went to a concert of Slipknot (that included mastadon, lamb of god, machine head and metallica). The last album is kinda crappy.

So what good heavy metal bands can you suggest me?

Here's a list of all the songs on my ipod. As you can see, I listen to a large variety of genres, but I don't have a lot of songs. I would like more songs, so based on the songs I already have, what other songs might I like?
