    Hi all

Basically, I have to do an ongoing project as part of an A level. I was thinking of having a shot at creating apps for the itouch and iPhone.

I know there's dev kits from Apple, and I just wanted to know what's the best stuff to get me started, what'd the difficulty curve like, and what I should try coding first. I haven't had a lot of previous coding and programming experience, but It's always been something I'd like to jump into.

    Thanks for any advice.

Need to know Objective C, coca touch and xcode. To develop and not sell, the SDK is free, otherwise it is 100 dollars. If you dont have alot of experience, you should start with any of the 3 listed and move from there.

Great, thanks for that. I'm not looking at selling anything, just developing. Which one of the 3 languages you listed would you recommend?

You need all 3 to develop for the ipod/phone

    2 are API's
the other is the actual language
