For some reason, I never like the recently released OS's. When I was on XP x86 I hated vista, it was shit and buggy and lagged etc.

Now i'm on vista ultimade x64, and I hate 7, it looks ugly and I love vista.

Do you have the classic theme turned on or something? Vista and Windows 7 are nearly identical in looks and base functionality.

Yeah, two machines with one having twice as much memory as the other is a great comparison. They also have different uptime, meaning there was nothing even resembling thoroughness if this were to be a valid comparison.

Windows 95 -> Windows XP Professional -> Ubuntu 6.06 -> Windows XP Professional -> Windows Vista Home Premium -> Windows 7 Ultimate (RC, shit's about to expire) -> Windows 7 Professional (when I can be fucked buying it)

I still have my Vista on my other hard drive as I left it like a year ago, but I'll be damned if I'm going back to that. Might get an enclosure for it or just barebones it on top of my PC so I can rip some more old files from it that I forgot to copy over the first time around. Makes a good backup OS.
