THE GAME IS OPEN. 1 SPOT LEFT.
Welcome to Pixel Island;
This recently abandoned island has caught the attention of many people and factions. Due to it's untouched condition and access to natural resources it's become a prime target for development. If it's to aid their own nation, escape and create their own or for whatever reason, Pixel Island is for you!

A Quick Note:
It's complicated, there is alot to it, I over explain things but it's completely needed. No "TL:DR Durrr" you read the entire OP until you understand it, PM me with questions, then you can join or post. Think of it as a big game of Risk or Axis and Allies.

What is this?
To those just entering this thread without a clue, this is Pixel Nations, where you build your own, village, towns and cities from scratch and into advanced nations. You get your own map, you and only you can live here. There are visits from other civilizations as well as war but they're the only exceptions. You build, create, fight, heal, fight some more, build some more until everyone loses interest or there is only one nation left on Pixel Island to claim it as their own.
Rules:
* NO MAGIC OR ROBOTS, Sorry!
* GM Rules are followed to the letter, I am the GM, meaning you must listen to what I say, please understand this before joining.
* You must PM me your sheet you plan to use, standards are low as I don't give a shit what you do on your own land!
* Do not edit others maps without premission.
* Do not extend your map without GM permission, PM me.
* No immature dick armies or structures or anything that encompases shittery.
* THE AGE IS MODERN!
* War may not be declared until the GM lifts the Safety Timer. This is to prevent someone bumble fucking other people first thing.
* Effort, put effort into your posts.
* There is no declare system unless you have a visitor, otherwise post as many times as you like regardless of others.
* Read the thread fully before joining.
* Rules are subject to change or edit.
Natural Resoruces, what are those?
Obviously, with any creature you need to eat, if this be a farm, or fish or whatever, you must eat of course.
Ontop of that, things need materials to be built. Want a house? You need sand for glass and wood for the house it's self. It's a simplified system, I won't expect you to go to the trouble of running to wikipedia and having to do a 20-turn long hunt to find resources.
To start, the map has grass, soil, trees, a mountain with an oil deposit (This mountain is also where iron, steel, tin, etc. etc. comes from. You add it in yourself, but you must dig into it to get to it. You add what you require. With the exception of some key resources which will be listed below.) and fish of various kinds.
There are a few GM only items/resources which you cannot create or add to your map. These items are, but are not limited too;
* Uranium
* Gold
* Jewels of all kinds.
* Oil and other Petrolium products.
* Wildlife, which include, but are not limited too, fish, land dwelling creatures and birds.
Important Note about People, Items and Resources:
You can't duplicate items, they all must be made by hand in turn, and when used will vanish.
For example, you want to feed your people? You yank the plants from the soil and feed them some Potatos, thoese Potatos will never be seen again. You fill an oil drum with oil? Then the oil vanishes once you fuel a vehicle. You send a shipment of Corn from your warehouse, to the boat and then to someone else to trade? It leaves your map, turns up in theirs and they in turn, use it. You bring back your profit and use it. You go to war? You send a tank from your home, to the frontline, your tank on the home map vanishes and appears in the Frontline, if it's destroyed, it's gone forever. Killing wildlife such as fish and animals means they're gone for good as well.
How do I get more units?
Well, there is a talk that goes by the 'Birds and the Bees' I doubt I have to explain it. But by chance I do, they need to have sex, you can depict this in a few ways, it's up to you, censoring two characters is sufficent. The female party will become pregnant and will give birth after a turn, after another two turns said child will become an adult. These time limits can be adjusted via a PM to me or, if you chose to make it longer, then do so at will.
There's trade?:
Yes, these are anything other players put value on, natural resources, people, technology, food, anything! To trade, all one must do is build a boat, load their goods and send them on their way to whichever map they wish to go too. It's pretty easy, depict in one picture your boat departing, in that same post, post their map with your boat enetering. But it's rude to enter territorial waters without premission, be polite and ask! Any hostile action done in this manor will result in a kick from the game however. GM approvel is required for exceptions to this rule. Visitation without the use of trade is also as depicted above.
What is this about an Auction?:
The GM has the ability to start auctions. The auction item will be put on display, this can range from gold, to food, to wildlife to add to your map. The highest bider wins. The currency is anything you think is of value, like fish, lumber, etc.
Some Auction items have no purpose other then to buy more Auction items, such as gold, a sign of wealth and when it comes to the auction, it really is good to have.
The Wildlife Guidebook:
[Coming Soon, this section will feature pictures and quick details on the various wildlife you may encounter, eat, trade and buy.]
How do wars work!?:
Of course, there is war. One can declare war on another. So military, vehicles, aircraft and ships will eventually become very important. GM's may stop the war, or change some rules depending on the handicap of the players and other factors. After war is declared, you go into Line of Contact Mode.
What is Line of Contact?:
This is what will most likely be refered too at the Front Line. Once war is declared, a Thread will start with their nations names. There will be a map (Water, Hills, Plains etc.) basic, the defender is allowed to use units from his home map in this thread to stock and defend a point. The attacker then does the same, but instead uses these units to charge their position. Why do we do this? If the defender wins, the Homeland is safe, they can choose to counterattack and march straight into their enemies homeland. If the attacker wins, he can go to their enemies homeland and "Fuck shit up", take it over, enslave them, take what they want, make it colonly etc. or be driven away by whatever units are left. Wars are moderatored, but only to a small degree so no one is steam rolling anyone.
Treaties:
This is self explanitory, you can make trade agreements, alliances, agreements to other things etc. with other players.
Weapons of Mass Destruction:
Bombs and such are allowed, but only certain explosives like grenades, cannons and such. Napalm, Carpet Bombs are not allowed, no matter what. Tt is possible to create a Tactical Nuke IF you have Uranium. It's an auction item and it costs you a leg and an arm, you will also need the brains and facilities to create it, but if you have all the three, you can, over the course of five turns create a Tactical Nuke.
This is great! How do I start?:
Send me a PM with your sheet, only 4 spots in this game!
Once you're accepted, you can only have a max of 10 units. A max of 5 of these can be soldiers. You're also allowed one vehicle assuming it's practicle. (IE: Jeeps, tractors, etc. not battleships, fighter planes or war tanks)
After that, it's up to you! Have fun playing god!
