And yeah, there's that reason. There's also the reason that they're being forced to conform to religious morals and standards and don't have what should be a basic freedom and right to everyone, not just people whom the bible deems are acceptable couples.

Maine does not honor two gay people as capable of being 'married'. Those people would have to stay in Canada if they wanted their relationship recognized.

Also if the kids DOES end up gay, what right does the goverment have to say the "fate" of being gay shouldn't happen.
Thats almost opening admitting gays are a second class if you fallow this logic, and if the subject of this is brought up in a court, or government, who ever brought it up needs to be removed of power, or just kicked out of the discussion because its obvious they are ignorant of society.
