So you wouldn't try to scare the home invader away, you would just shoot.
If I'm going to rob a house, I'd cover my face.
and I'd rather go to jail for 7 years for robbery then life for murder. this is basic logic
1500 people don't carry guns because they want to be cool?
What the fuck goes on in your head? I'm going for nothing
expert touch, I'm sure you get all the ladies.
What you have to realize is that sometimes there is no other option. The scumbag OBVIOUSLY wasn't deterred by the mere presence of a shotgun. Had she had not shot him, he wouldn't have stopped. There would be a totally different outcome.
Theres also the fact that they might be on something, so why risk your own life by not shooting to save your own?
Also, I find it funny how your trying so hard to pick my point apart when you could just leave it alone.
The moral of this story is: "Don't break into peoples homes, it may be the last thing you do, ever."
How many laps of the same argument has this thread gone through now Trotsky? This ain't the Daytona 500, give it a rest.
Fuck out my House.
I'd be a little more cautious when aiming, a simple arm or leg shot would have done the job.
Good for her. I would have done the same thing, myself, only I have a 12 gauge instead of a 16 gauge.
I, too, am curious as to what was in the shell. I'm guessing it was buckshot.
This thread disturbs me more than the news article.
It doesn't seem like a good idea to fire a gun in the middle of a conversation with the police, but then I guess there wasn't much of an alternative given the situation.
