Last week I sent an email to Airsoft GI, and another one yesterday. I have not received a reply yet. In short, I asked them if they in fact do ship outside the US, more specifically to Norway, Europe. Their website doesn't have a statement saying they don't, but the register form doesn't include any countries other than USA, Canada and Puerto Rico, which leads me to believe that they don't..
So, in lieu of an answer from Airsoft GI, I started thinking about alternative ways to shop. First I looked at a shitload of other retailers, none of which are even close to what Airsoft GI represents. At least not at first glance.. most of them doesn't ship outside the US anyway..
Second, I (accidentally) came across the possibility of using a 3rd party service, a mail/package forwarding service, aiming to assist in purchasing and sending merchandise from retailers that doesn't ship internationally.
I'm sure the list of these service providers is longer, but I have so far come across a select few:

I do not know how much I am willing to trust any of them with a $1000+ value package, but I hope to find anyone with personal experience with such a service! Norway lacks a decent airsoft retailer, and the very few that exists, are insanely overpriced and generally sells what looks to be low-grade hardware..

RSOV is among the stores I won't be using, at least not for purchasing AEGs. Not that they have many of those in the inventory..

Shipping costs, for one. Don't they usually charge an arm and a leg for it?

The shipping cost is not a major concern of mine. It isn't cheap, but it's not too extreme either.
The sum of the cost of the items + shipping + import taxes (25%) is still LESS than if I were to buy the same item from Norway or UK. After USA, England seems to have a fair amount of good webshops, but they are expensive.
So if I could get an arrangement like this, I would gladly pay the extra bucks, knowing well that I get high quality items from a well reputed business.
On a sidenote: Does anyone here live in the state of New Jersey? The reason I'm asking is because I've heard there are some laws in that state prohibiting airsoft? Would those laws affect the transit of my order, seeing as the package actually wouldn't end up in NJ, just pass through?
From Wikipedia: "The states of New Jersey and Michigan, however, do not allow airsoft guns to be used and handled publicly, because of the resemblance to real firearms. Federal law categorizes airsoft guns as toys and for importation into the United States the muzzle must be painted safety orange." - This is all I could find on that very subject..

It is leagle but not in public, so you can't play in the middle of downtown. They also are required to have a orange tip, so no you could go for it.

Because you said you didn't know. So I figured you didn't bother to make ends meet so I did.
And the shipment doesn't have to meet state laws because that is not the destination.
That's like saying if you are shipping a box of X to state Y but in state Z you can't use X with out a license, well in state Y you can with out a license but because you are crossing a state that has no border patrol or customs checking you will have it removed.
No, it is not illeagle or a problem.
tl;dr you will be fine.

Lets say im getting something shipped from CA I live in NY
Every state inbetween has airsoft guns banned
Since it's already in the US and no states have there own customs it shall arrive to me.
Now.
When theres other countrys inbetween you and the shipper. If it lands in that country it could get checked by customs and boom you could loose it.

At least I'm at the point where all that remains is to actually order the guns. I've been talking to the ASGI guys, and they don't seem to have a problem with my proposal (why should they anyway, they don't break any routines because of it). So, right about now I gotta start saving up some serious cash. Since it's Christmas, I've spent money elsewhere, on others. How typical! Great plan, bad timing.
I also phoned JetCarrier and had a chat with them, and since they have an office in my country, it feels alot safer than relying on another third party. I'll make sure to post a feedback here from the personal experience with them, when the time comes!
Any Norwegian airsofters in here?
