I'm getting sick of this game, maybe it is just because I'm in LED. I don't know, i can't seem to get to R1 because for one you have to take a class to get it..but no one will tell me when classes are. Then if you have a question no one really helps you at all.
I don't know i don't want to make an opinion after playing with one faction but the community kinda sucks too. I don't know.

Join EuroCore or BoS, both of them are allied to eachother.
I'm EuroCore, it's a great community and they are helpful.
Also, if you are new, stick with the game despite the learning curve. It's worth it.

No. You only get EXP from completing objectives, that is it.

Man, I remember this game. I played it like 5 years ago and I was a part of the LED IAD (Internal Affairs Department) when it had just been created to deal with the LED corruption. Good times.

This game looks interesting. I'm wondering about the economy now. anybody care to tell me if its a shaky one or if its always changing?

CMG are the worst fighters in a world, they a disgrace of a faction and I hope we don't stop until the faction is dead.

Dunno what happened, from what I gathered is that some leadership stuff changed between the goons and now some terribaD goon is leading it all, internal fights everywhere.
I told them it was a double-edged sword, but they used only one side to cut.

Its a fun game a few Mercs came to TS last night and we had a big 'ol battle defending the planet. I'm still trying to figure out a few things though mainly money is a huge problem for me.

I understand this probably won't work with a gecube x800gto cause of the pixel shader model, it's 2.0b instead of 2.0, is there any way I can get around this and still play it?

Freaking Reefer, EuroCore's president, all he did today was rage. About how people are quitting, the game is dying, how EC is dying, a bunch of shit. Listen to him on ventrilo for longer than 20 minutes and you'll want to blow your brain out. When are elections? I hope they are soon. Because Reefer will probably rage so hard and completely do dumb shit just to fuck over the faction. I can see it now.

Here's a list of what each faction mostly does.
Do what fits you.
Law Enforcement Department (LED) - Patrol NYC and do what you're told. Which you usually get ganked by mercenaries and/or sit in one spot and do nothing. This faction sucks balls, you'll be bored as hell.
Freedom Defense Corps (FDC) - Like LED, but more action. By the way LED and FDC are part of the government.
Vortex Inc. (VI) - Make money. Run the economy. Not much action.
Guardians of Mankind (GoM) - Peaceful people who just run the economy. Barely any action.
Brotherhood of Shadows (BoS) - Economy and Fighting mixed in. One of the factions I recommend.
Mercenaries of the Blood (MotB) - Kill whomever you want and get paid for it. Contracts. Basically people who want nothing of the game except just killing people. They also get hired to raid places.
Colonization and Mining Guild (CMG) - Bunch of pansies. They're for the economy though.
EuroCore (EC) - I'm in this. We all do economic shit. But we are usually involved in fighting and doing fun stuff. I highly recommend this.
Current superpowers of the game are BoS, EC and the Government.
EC and BoS are allies.

I was in EC hate it a lot, now I'm in LED, most of them are shit shots :\ but O well I'm rank 3 lol too late to change it around. Still.. should of picked the FDC
