Here I will list various CQB tips that I've figured out just playing at my local CQB area. I've played close to 12 hours total playtime so I have a good understanding of different tactics. If you have anything to contribute, post it below and I will add it.
Tips
- Watch where you are stepping, you don't want to be tripping left and right.
- Don't run, same as the previous, you don't want to fall while doing a rush, fast walk instead.
- Don't camp, it is annoying to the other team and it makes you more likely to get hit as people know your location.
- Don't be afraid to rush. I see a lot of new players staying back and camping and not rushing. Rushing is a great way to catch your opponent off guard and get some quick kills when they're not expecting it.
- Communicate with your team. If you see an enemy in the left corner of the room, then shout "Enemy, left corner!". Obviously don't shout if you haven't been seen as you don't want to give away you/your team.
- Move quickly and quietly. Don't be really loud, make sure your gear isn't making sound as you move so you don't give yourself away. Move quickly to get an advantage over the enemy as he probably won't realize you're moving in.
- Use the mercy rule. If you get really close to someone, use the mercy rule. I can count the scars on my arms and hands from new players shooting me point blank cause they didn't know the mercy rule. It sucks for the guy getting hit.
- Identify yourself as a teammate if allies are unsure if you are friendly or not. If you come around a corner and a teammate suddenly aims at you. Just say "Friendly" or wave.
- Check your corners. A technique I use for corners is quickly pop my head around the corner, take a quick look, and pop back in. I do this whole thing in about 3 seconds, be quick 'cause someone might be waiting on the other side.
- Always check doorways and chokepoints for booby traps.
- When entering a room or corridoor, don't all just stand there. Clear it out.
- Think before shooting. Don't shoot your teammates, if you see someone, make sure that person is an enemy before shooting and don't shoot at everything that moves.
- Don't unload on people. Usually one or two shots will do it (depending on what the other person is wearing). It sucks to have someone spray them point blank, so don't do it.
- If you shoot someone and s/he isn't calling their hit, feel free to unload on them until they do.
Tactics
Rushing - This is basic, basically consisting of moving in an a enemy location quickly and quietly. This is a great tactic that takes the enemy off guard and is usually successful, especially against new players as they don't expect it.
Flanking - This is also basic, while in a firefight find a way around the enemy and get them from behind. This requires you to move quietly so the enemy doesn't realize as to what you are doing.

I play on a very narrow CQB building. There is no way to flank around the enemy stealthily or rush without getting shot first.
Other tips:
- Check your corners, stay frosty.

Its also a great way to accidentally take a shotgun blast to the face. People tend to pull the trigger as a reaction when they get surprised, even if they have already been shot.

Although that does happen sometimes, most newbies don't expect it. I do this often and I'd say 80% of the time it works.

No Russian, #1 rule. But seriously take care when turning corners, I went to a cqb place with my friend once a while ago (what got me interested in airsoft) and just about every time I turned a corner I got blasted.

That's why you "check your corners, stay frosty".

Also, think before you pull the trigger when turning corners. I've been friendly fired way too many times by some trigger happy assholes on my team who like to rush through corners.

Try and not hold the god damn trigger on someone who is like 10 feet away. Your 350FPS gun shooting 10 feet away isn't a nice feeling.
(Not towards you ender, in general with people playing CQB)

Only hold the trigger if they don't call it and they're a cheating bastard, then it's perfectly alright with me. Had to do that today, you would not believe how pissed off I get at cheaters.

Awesome tips so far guys. Need more tactics though!

1. Formulate challange/response system with team
2. Acquire as many grenades as there are rooms in the building
3. Prior to clearing room, pull pin on grenade, making sure to keep a firm grasp on the spoon
4. Yell out challenge
5. If no/incorrect response, throw grenade, blow up room occupants
6. Victory!
7. Repeat in remaining rooms
There isnt a single problem in the world that cant be solved with the proper application of high explosives

If you have to hug the wall, never stay in one spot - keep moving as if you aren't hugging the wall.

And just a general tip, get cover or die. This isn't Call of Duty where you can take multiple shots and stay alive to heal.

Is there a medic way of playing airsoft? Like if you're down you have to wait for a medic?

Ah. When I was at the field I heard people talking about ctf. Also those california milsim things look pretty cool.

Yeah there's a few medic rules, the next OP im going to has a set of them. One way is lay injured, calling for a medic, that medic has x amount of time to get to you before you go to spawn and another way is having a medic come over to you with a deck of cards, and each card has a time value (Ace=death, king=instant, queen=10 seconds, etc)

Oh so a chance you die/get healed? Sounds pretty cool.

Well, where I play, we only do skirmishes. Spawning again 10 minutes later in the next game keeps you happy.
