Leonard Nimoy FTW (Can't spell his last name at all)
Walternate's job really surprised me.

That was pretty fucking great.
Although, I was hoping Peter would choose to stay in the alt world instead of going with our people.
Though, since Olivia professed her love for him that most certainly put a damper on that happening.

But, they had to keep the alties around somehow.
Totally saw it coming though, the second Olivia dyed her hair I knew they were going to pull a switcheroo.

It was still great though.

This show needs more viewers god damn it.

I can't believe the ending all together! Of course the next season, Peter will probably suspect its not the real Liv because I assume she will not demonstrate feelings for him.

As for the "extended scene" advertised, in case you have not gone to the fox website already, it really is just a ford motor company advert and is not that long, maybe not even worth your time.

Oh and guys by the way, if you want to ensure Fringe makes it to at least 2011, go to Fox's website and actually post comments to them @ http://futurefox.blogs.fox.com/
because otherwise when you don't speak up to the networks(see fox broadcasting's proposal about machinima @ http://futurefox.blogs.fox.com/2010/...#comments)they make up their minds what shows live or not by the advert money they earn or not earn during a show and more importantly, the stupid neilsen viewer ratings.

I'm afraid for this show's future.

It's probably not going to make it to a 4th season judging by how low the viewer count is.

It was great, I'm still wondering whether Alt-Olivia is working for Walternate's Fringe division or someone else.

Spoiler tagged theory;

This seems to be a different universe than the one we saw in the WTC episode with Nimoy, the WTC episode had a newspaper which had "Obama's move into new White House" on the front page (or something similar), while in this episode the President's name is Kennedy.

Actually, nevermind the above theory, it says    The White House announced that President Obama has chosen former President John F. Kennedy to lead the government's new agency aimed at slowing ecological breakdown. President Kennedy plans to step down from his role as U.N. Ambassador.

Fantastic premiere.
Really liked how they showed a contrast between the two Walters at the end of the episode.

Must be hilarious for Altivia to see Walter acting like a child.

I imagine Fauxlivia would actually feel bad for him in some way. She may be a hardened member of the Alt-Fringe Division, but she is also human.

I didn't have time to watch the premiere, so I used our DVR and just got done watching it.. it was awesome

but I swear they made design the show to creep up on you when fast forwarding over the commercials. One commercial break is 5 min, the next is 30-40 seconds

Makes me wonder if Walternate experimented on Fauxlivia like he was doing with Olivia, some kind of trigger or memory that she will find out about and turn on him for.

It's really pissing me off how    Olivia is becoming more like Altlivia, while our Fringe team has no idea.    I guess it was intentional though.

A majority of the episode talked about the treatments that Walternate was trying to give her, and to be fair, we haven't had the chance to see our Fringe team interact fully since they only appeared in the last minute of the episode.

Part of why the viewer count was low is that they advertised the show with the WRONG AIR DATES in my area.

All the commercials in the San Francisco bay area said the premiere would be THIS week, so a lot of people are going to tune in and be really pissed off.

FOX fucked up bad.

Good season premiere though!

I like Fringe better and better as it goes along.
It's like a combination of X-Files, Alias, CSI, and I don't even know what else.

I love that they sometimes have moments where they really turn everything on its head and do something unexpected. I know people complained a lot about Walter being like a magic old man who could solve everyone's problems, but that was just set-up so that the few times when Walter fucks up or fails it really hits home how crazy and unreliable he is.

My only complaint is that Joshua Jackson is a terrible, terrible actor.

No, he's pretty terrible.

His range of emotion is really limited. He always seems kind of half-stoned and never seems really sad or angry or anything. Just kind of dull.

But maybe I just think that because I saw him on Dawson's Creek and he acts exactly the same in that as he does in Fringe.

Keep in mind that House has at least one bodily fluid squirting or leaking almost every episode, as well as more disgustingly awesome stuff.

FOX's got some balls letting this stuff air in primetime.

It kind of reminded me of some of the parts of Cloverfield where the aliens were killing people.

The big reveal near the end about what Bell left Walter was pretty great. Can't wait to see what they do with that.

The show is starting to feel a lot more like JJ Abrams' other stuff now. Lots of interesting plot twists.
