Closest I'm getting to seeing Metallica, at least for a while, is seeing the Big Four broadcast live in cinema. It'll still be good, but not NEAR as awesome as the real thing.
Every time that concert comes up I cannot help but get angry at the fact that they decided to do ONE FUCKING SHOW in fucking POLAND
I mean come on, it's not exactly well known for its metal scene. Only metal bands I know from Poland are Vader and Behemoth

Yeah, it got left out of DM, it sounds ok, but needed the lyrics doing properly, James just ended up going Wohhh ohoho oh Wohhhh, for half the song. Had a nice sound though.
Also i agree with mickey, the biggest concert in thrash history (The first big 4 meeting) and they put it in Poland. I mean seriously? I'm from the UK but i wouldn't care if it was in the US, there are so many fans there. Or at least somewhere like France, or England, more central Europe... But god, Poland is way out there man.

If you bought the UK ticket you got a free one for a short amount of time. I was seriously contemplating it but i couldn't justify the money for flights and tickets and then all the expenses of booze and food etc. Oh well.

I read Megadeth can't play the UK because they're exclusively signed to the Download Festival. Anthrax and Slayer are exclusive to festivals too, not sure which ones.
I imagine it's the same story in the US.
