Listened to Lulu in film class today (We are doing Powerpoints on Bram Stoker's Dracula (1992) vs Nosferatu (1922) and the teacher let us listen to music.
I Liked "The View" and "Iced Honey"
The rest, not so much.
1992 Dracula instead of the 1931 Dracula?
BLASPHEMY
Well we are comparing both the films, and techniques they had available to them and how they were used, obviously 1992 had alot more at their disposal than 1931. A larger jump in terms of technology.
Also, "Little Dog Started out alright. And then....
A puny little body and a tiny dick
A little dog can make you sick
I lost it at:
counts his fingers and toes
he still got those![]()
That's amazing. If you compare 90's vs. 80's looks, there is such a huge difference. It almost looks like a completely different band.
i told you bout dat link mofukka

My James is best James : http://steamcommunity.com/id/xtra
Edit : Holly shit, 1000. Fuck yes.
That's cute.
Metallica and metal in general is for children
Autistic childrens you mean.
All hail the Fixxxer!
For some reason I feel like the only one who likes all of the St.Anger album. Although I do agree most of the stuff sorta sounds the same but I still like it.
You're not.
Atleast on Facepunch.
Most people here enjoy the album.
And this is why I like discussing about Metallica here. People are open minded.
Oh, by the way, freakin' love St.Anger too.
Metallica version of Blitzkrieg kicks more ass than anything.
That part after the solo.
Just pure awesomeness.
Edited:
But I wonder was it really done on real instruments, or just MIDI?
Edited:
Oopsie, I was speaking dumb shit again, of course that's not midi. It just sounded a bit like that at first. The difference is obvious.
uh
what?
I... you...
Really now
Oh, that part? That's def. not midi haha
the original blitzkrieg is way better
blitzed ALIVE is an awesome tape
I dunno, Metallica version has more powerful guitars, and I like James' vocals more.
Not sure about the drums though.
Nailed it again.
you have to hear the blitzed alive version (the video of it on youtube is like 32kb/s encoded or some shit you can't hear a thing of what is being played)
Speaking about Garage Inc, I think the song that Metallica nailed the most is Astronomy. I'm sorry, but even if the original is good, Metallica's is simply mind blowing. Really love that song.
The original version is far better. The raw classic sound of eighties Metal, heavy drums, and Brian Ross' fucking awesome vocals. No-one can beat that.
Which is the original by the way? The Secret Treaties version?
Well the huge problem about Blitzkrieg (the band) is that it's under-rated and almost completely unknown. The only versions of Blitzkrieg I can find are, the demo, the Metallica cover, and the 2007 remaster.
I have the album, (I could only get the Japanese release version though). I could upload it so you guys can hear the awesomeness that is: Blitzkrieg.
All the jelly?![]()
you can't find the original single? it's the b-side of some shitty song that I don't remember
Get the album "Blitzed Alive" seriously, it's killer.
Edited:
he's talking about blitzkrieg still not astronomy
I have a time of changes record in my garage some where
KEA though AJFA too, and with the last caress/green hell single
lol k
You know Lulu kinda reminds me of Helloween's Chameleon in a way. The whole things shit, then the ending is really good so it makes you feel like you just listened to a really good album.
mmm polished turd!
did you know you can actually polish a turd?

kirk hammett picks eh? I was tempted by them but I have no idea what they were like so I never got them.
I like the Kirk picks, rigid, durable. But I much prefer James' BlackFangs, the pointy end is just great for fast picking
This, pretty much. Always use those picks.
I used to have a fuckton of Blackfangs, I managed to lose almost all of em, I've only got one left
Such is life as a Metal guitarist
