Back at the old map some villages had 3-4 layers of brickwall to protect themselves. I did not help.

So I went off to search for Wild Windsown weed and....
Fuck yeah tons of free carrot seeds, now I will no longer worry about farming.

I wish I could find my settlement in relation to Brodgar. I'm just hoping that someone will make a huge world map, and then I'll wonderfully discover that I live really close to brodgar, and then I will get metal.

Anyone tried to tame anything yet? I want to get some sheep, but I dunno how hard it'll be to successfully tame one.

Dont tame unless you know your good at the combat system. Its better just to find a 4-Leaf Clover.

Taming is EASY. You can tame directly through the corner of construction post pens when you pen the herd in. It just takes time.
Also, those look like hops, not carrots. Useless unless you have metal.

If you have around 15-20 perception and 20-25 exploration you can find clover in the fields. Use the clover on sheep to be able to shear wool, and cows for milk.

Oh my god oh my god oh my god. I logged on and proceeded to head to the local forest. I see a bear near my friend's fence. So I tell him to get on, go inside his fence, and shoot the bear. He attacks the bear, AND IT FUCKING PLOWS RIGHT THROUGH THE FENCE! It demolished the fence in 2 hits, and beat him down. So right now we're being held captive in our own houses/cabins. I don't want to see if it's gone.
Oh, and when I went into a cabin, my friend said that it started destroying the cabin.

Yeah, bears are essentially bulldozers. Best to leave them alone unless you are near water with a boat or cart.

My village had started plowing a huge motherfukcing hemp-field, and when we were done we had each gained like 12k LP each, and then the server crashed and all of it is gone ;-;

Also I re-earned my 12k. I'm up at 17k. I logged out now, and when I come back online I'mma rebuild that fence so NOTHING can come in. All those creatures are 10.5k worth of LP!

I think they are oxens. They can't come in though. What I'm worried about are the sheep/goats trespassing into my safe-spot... :ohdear:

String is obtained by looking on the ground.

If you're going to help at least help him by telling him what he needs... Oh wait, you're too busy whining about losing a crop of hemp and 12k LP on the forums to help someone new.
To get string you need foraging and look around for Spindly Taproot and Stinging Nettle. You don't need to do anything special with it, it's just considered string. The higher your exploration and perception is, the easier it is to find stuff with foraging.

I got all of my LP back, and thankfully more then that now that I started hunting bulls. The crop is intact, and you have no fucking idea how huge it is. I just never got a chance to see if it WAS intact, because the server failed all the time.
And foraging is practically the first skill you learn, unless you are a complete noob who is to lazy to read the wiki...

Epic, I am fenced in tightly with 14 sheep (400LP per kill = 5.6k LP) and 8 bulls (900LP per kill = 7.2k LP).
THIS IS A GOLDMINE!

And how do you know the person who stole shit wasn't a thief who only invested LP in trespassing, etc? Many people do that...

Unless they changed it, anyone can "trespass", and by that I mean walk on the claim, but not do anything. I'm not sure if that shows up as a scent though. I turn on criminal acts when I don't want to walk around a huge claim. But people that actually have 'trespassing' can take stuff on the ground, or harvest stuff, etc.
