    Hm, it already looks fairly empty, removing npcs will make it even more empty. Perhaps you could place a landspeeder or swoopbike here and there for eye-candy? I know there's a landspeeder model and I think there's a swoopbike too. vehicles like this could also be linked to quests. but parts-stripping forexample.

    More Cross-map quests would also be nice.
    Yeah, I agree with this. The thing is, theres alot of hostile NPCs clustered around Mos Mesric, but theres only a sparse few Kreetles in the area around Mos Mesric. Why not make it so the thugs, and Nova Demons are a bit more spread out, perhaps having a sort of gang hideout on the unused side of the map.

    There's a problem with the Scourge, one person goes in and locks the doors from the command booth, and doesn't unlock them so no one else can. :( Trilobite and Big S said they had ideas/solution in mind though, so don't fret. :3

    I suppose it indirectly partly my fault. I didn't make the Star Destroyer with this mod in mind. Since it didn't exist yet.
    So I added a lockdown for role play purposes. Yes one person can lock down all blastdoors in the map from the control room of the main hangar. Some can be unlocked from the other control room in the small hangar. But if you are in one of the hangars and the blastdoors are locked you have no way of getting through.

    Now, the idea I had for the next version of the map was to add a console in the main hangar where you can hack the system to unlock some or all blastdoors to make your way to the controlroom to unlock the rest. Then if there's a lockdown it'll make it just more challenging instead of impossible.

    I'm not sure what BigS was planning as a workaround though, but it may be needed cause the Steam update broke Hammer. So at the moment I don't have access to the Hammer editor and I have no way of fixing it at the moment.

    Next update will probably add in some new weaponry, new armor, a +3/-3 xp cap above/below enemy creatures. I'd like to give each crafting profession the same amount of new content as Chef, so at least 3 more armor sets for Armorsmith, and a score of new and improved weaponry for Weaponsmiths to create.

    After that large update (whenever it happens), I will start working on getting missions and such going in Naboo.

    What I would really like to do is have an SVN for all of the content, so that additions, changes, and removals from Star Wars: Sagas content would be a million times easier to manage. I do not have the funds available to pay for this at the moment, so it would have to be purely volunteer. Not to be picky, but a huge amount/unlimited bandwidth is a must - The files amount to nearly a gigabyte so far.

    If anyone is feeling charitable and can help, please let me know. Or, if you have a better idea/method of distributing all of the resources, let me know then as well! Thanks a bunch all.

    If it's reaching a gig you really should think about optimising it, there's probably a few "rogue" textures which don't need to be so big.

    After another few hours of playing I finaly got to lvl 10 and traveled to the ISD, damn those enemies are hard, first enemy you encounter has 800 hp!

    Anyhow, I noticed that now every map seems to have pretty much all resources. Before you had to travel to different locations to get all different types of resources. I think that was better, then you travel more see more different surroundings, instead of just hanging around in the same place all the time.

    Naboo is also missing the Empire shopkeepers btw.

    Google Code is free, and a lot of SVNs are based there. I'm not sure on size limit though. It does say this about bandwidth;
    "Are there any restrictions to how much bandwidth a download can consume?

    Tatooine has the Empire shopkeepers, while Naboo has the Republic, kind of a territory thing that fits nicely. :D

    Yeah the resource thing needs some fine tuning. I liked the old system better personally, as it really made the economy more important, and encouraged supply and demand. The problem of course is that often people would sometimes be without the basic minerals due to an unlucky spawn on restart. However, this was back when there was only one server (Tatooine), unlike the 3 other resource-spawning areas now.

    Cool video :D

    I apologize for not being able to get anything done so far this week - Work is keeping me REALLY busy, and I've been finding that once I get home, I'm pretty much wiped out.

    This weekend I'm hoping to get alot of new content out (weapon/armor schematics, some new quests, maybe some new NPC's to fight) as well as a few tweaks to the experience system.

    I've also been working on creating a real website for Star Wars: Sagas. Eventually, it is my dream to have the game running off of SQL databases, so that I can create alot of interaction from both inside and outside the game. Here's the latest WIP picture I have - Please keep in mind that this is a very rough draft of the front page:

    How is the structure of the site organized? I can help you with this if you need any, I have some experience with web development and design, and I'd be more than happy to help.

    As far as MySQL interaction, I started basic work on this when I was working with SWO. I long lost all the code I used, but I can probably rewrite it. I will have more availability over the summer, and my next few weeks will be busy due to last minute cramming for the final exams midway through June.

    You will have to wait for his server to restart. Garry recently ninja'd a patch in, and you must have the new patch while the server is running the older patch. The server should automatically update the next time it's taken down. There isn't anything you can do except wait for him to either restart the server manually, or wait for it to crash.

    I must say i'm quite impressed. The thirdperson is really fluent, it's almost like playing Battlefront. I love this gamemode.

    It just needs more quests, i'm level 8 now and out of quests. Oh, and a stormtrooper model.

    Keep grinding until you reach level 10. Harder quests that are impossible to do unless you level up some more.

    Woah... EXTREME dejavu right there... I think I remember someone saying the exact same thing before, and everyone replied saying "that didn't make any sense!" But anyways, he's correct, get to level 10 and you'll find harder quests

    YOU NEED TO MAKE IT SVN CHECK OUT TO Addons/Star Wars Sagas. If you don't have a "Star Wars Sagas" folder in your garrysmod/addons, CREATE ONE AND THEN CHECK OUT TO THERE.

    This will automatically update as changes are made, so be sure to check it often. I will still include "Content Pack Update" packs separately for those that want the hastle of manually downloading everything.

    Is there any chance this will be released fully to the community once it's all done?
    I only play privately with friends, and we've had a blast playing Underdone. The good RPGs never get released, so I'm extremely grateful to polkm.
    I did join the server a week or so ago, but it was full of jerks and the pings were too high to do anything.
