Yeah, that's what I like about it. Winning a match of MoW does not require you to be faster in doing shit like almost all RTSes, instead it focuses on the tactical aspect so even if your opponent has strong units, you can take them down if you can outwit them.
Also requires you to be very alert, especially when you have artillery and a infantry line. We don't want sneaking scouts TNT-ing your investment. When fighting the Panzer 4 and 3 series, I think you have to aim for the Balkan Crosses for a huge explosion with any RPGs. I'm not very sure if this is right though.
Edit: Found the bazooka guide (this also applies to PIAT, Faust and Shreck)
Bazooka Strategy Guide
I can't wait for the next sequel. Maybe they can start implementing alot of the WunderWaffe weapons and other secret weapons.
I jizz thinking about using a Maus or a Ratte tank.
I'm curious as to why they marked the weak points with a Balkan Cross? Unless I'm an idiot and it's for the purposes of the game that they made that point weak
No one answered my question :(
Reposting videos from the star wars mod, since my last post was one of the four last posts on the trial thread.
Thanks for that guide, saved my T70 against a Stug today. Ambushed it and hit its weakpoint.
The German and Soviet commanders decided it would be a perfect plan to park all their fuel reserves at the train tracks while they discussed a possible ceasefire.
No smoking bro
I said no smoki-- JESUS CHRIST
After this I somehow managed to fly a plane below the level and then up into the ground and it jumped to 500 feet, fell down, blew up, but both the pilots survived somehow.
I only do that when messing around with friends though, it's a cheap thing to do really.
Just use a trainer with a no-reload function.
Prob is, my tanks are no invincible. Both sides have no reload function. And I use cheathappens trainer.
Er, so, how do you guys get the planes to take off? I can get to refueling and taxiing, but I can never get it off the ground
Woah what, Men of War just started updating on my steam for no reason. Could this possibly mean they're actually supporting the new patches over steam?
Yes, they're supporting the patches through steam now. Mine just updated to 1.17.5
Am I the only one getting a little annoyed by the gem editor?
Am I the only guy who doesn't know how to use the editor? Seriously, I place some tanks in the russian mission, and how do I get them to be controlled by me?
I was using the DGC.
20 german tanks and 36 infantry against my 16 russian troops, we were holding some church thing and were being pounded, the walls were too thich for tank shells, but the flame thrower troops were advancing, lucky for us none made it to our front as we pulled back the 3 men who were out front trying to guard from a demolished fence.
It turns our we had one AT gun who was mad at work fucking up tank engines and generaly trying to land shots to fuck the rest of the tank over.
While this went on, I send a squad of 2 men to flank and use the 2 at grenades we had total to fuck up the two tanks that were a threat at the time and we moves to look more germans for ammo and AT grenades.
We ended up taking out every tank and only suffered 1 loss which was a tank crewman who survived his tank exploding a few missions before.
We were doing good and managed to secure 2 tanks from the battle and enough ammo to restock every soldier with ammo for his weapon.
Most of them are using german helmets and a few are using german weapons.
How on earth do you get a map working either in the editor or ingame anyway?
2 men is no longer a squad, more like a fireteam.
You load a map. If you want to play, press start in the bottom right corner. Then the AI kicks in.
Whenever I press start in the bottom right corner nothing happens, it acts as if I'm still mapping
Anyone knows if there is a download link to Men of War Trainer for version 1.17.5?
I'm looking for beta testers for SP/Coop missions. Any volunteers?
I am under the impression with a bit of learning you can do the exact same thing in the outfront editor. I personally do not use it though, I'm sure someone here won't mind linking you to a site to learn how to use it.
Making huge minefields in the editor is easy. Spawn an AT / AP miner, place one mine, delete the miner. Copypaste the mine to create a nice shape, then copypaste the shape to create a minefield.
Profanwolf I still can't figure out how to make something fire rapidly using actor_fire
