    Remember the Doom helmet that a nice guy was working on for me? He's giving up and will be giving me the files. Would somebody be willing to complete it once I do get them?

    Trust me, I work with metal. Metal this thick isn't going to break off anytime soon with still relatevely a lot holding it up.

    Oh, sorry. See that little rectangle on the visor? I thought that was a visor, like on one of them medieval helmets.

    Alot of people are working towards the polycount contest, that is why you're seeing a lot of content but no releases sadly.

    Maybe alot of this polycount pack will go forward to the engineer update, kinda why I'm making a engineer pack not only because there's alot more ideas for the class considering it has no update yet, and that because it's a class that has a lot of concepts to build around but mainly because I can see Valve focusing more on the engineer, thereby leaning towards engineer submissions.

    A friend and I took the buff banner's blu flag and took it into photoshop and turned it into the union jack. it looks great, however how do we get it back in game? I turned the union jack version into a vtf file and put it where it belongs in the computer, but it didn't work, any tips?

    The Buff Banner is glitched and doesn't use its BLU skin ingame. Try saving it as the RED version and it'll probably work.

    Daimao, good to see you. You are one of the best in fixing small bugs. The Buffpack doesn't show p on other Soldiers. When I equip it, I can see it, but only I can. Can you fix this?

    I don't think that's a glitch. I think the other skin was simply cut before the Buff Banner was finalized. Take note of the WAR! Update's Soldier page: http://www.teamfortress.com/soldierupdate/ Blue Soldier with the "Red" Buff Banner flag.

    Though it would be pretty cool to see a team-colored version. Would that be possible as a skin?

    Can you guys test this out? Gonna shove it on FPSB later on.

    New: It's finally got the telefrag icon and that wrench icon Omo requested.


    WHAT'S CHANGED:

    Rocket Launcher - Replaced with an icon of the launcher itself, rather than a rocket. This fixes the problem with the out of date rocket icon (the checkers aren't actually on the model), and makes it match the Direct Hit. Also adds a muzzle flash so it appears to be firing.

    Ambassador (body shot) - Lightly added engravings to stop the icon being so non-descript. Moved the muzzleflash up a pixel.

    Captured Point (Red) - Fixed some cut-off pixels on the right of the icon. This error was very noticable on certain resolutions.

    Defended Point (Red) - Fixed some cut-off pixels on the right of the icon. This error was very noticable on certain resolutions.

    Flamethrower - Added the rest of the flamethrower, to match it with every other icon.

    Train (vehicle) - Adds a melee-style hit effect to the front of the train, which adds a lot more impact to the icon. Also has slightly fainter motion lines.

    Eyelander (taunt kill) - The sword's now longer to match the length of the usual Eyelander killicon. The handle has been modified slightly too.

    Sniper Rifle (body shot) - Replaced the icon with an image of the rifle itself, rather than just the crosshair. Now it matches the other icons better.

    Syringe Gun - Shrunk the needles down and added an image of the gun itself next to them, for the same reason as the Sniper Rifle (body shot) icon. Designed by Shugo.

    KGB - Minor modifications to match the original fist icons properly. The stars are less opaque, and the arm fades into invisibility.

    Scottish Resistance - Replaced the icon with an icon of the launcher itself, firing an SR style sticky. The launcher part is based off the original Sticky Launcher icon, with parts of the Scottish Resistance icon drawn on appropriately.

    Backstab - Replaced the steak knife with the original Spy knife.

    The Chargin' Targe - Added an extra ring of detail and took a chunk out of the shield. It matches it's model more accuracately now. Also has slightly fainter motion lines.

    Wrench - Flipped the wrench round to match the in-game animations.

    Sniper Rifle (headshot) - Flipped the direction of the bullet to match the direction every other killicon is facing.

    Huntsman (headshot) - Flipped the direction of the arrow to match the direction every other killicon is facing. Also made the arrow much shorter and modified the "fins" on the back slightly.

    Bat - Made the lines indicating the wrap less transparent, to make it look a little less sloppy.

    Sandman - Based on the original bat icon, with a different grip and something wrapped around the top, to match the model. Interestingly, a seperate icon entry for the Sandman always existed, but never pointed to a unique icon.

    Direct Hit - Added a muzzle flash so it appears to be firing.

    Shotgun - Made the muzzle flash a little more transparent so that all muzzle flashes are a uniform transparency.

    Pistol - Made the muzzle flash a little more transparent so that all muzzle flashes are a uniform transparency. Also removed the bullet being fired, as it looked sloppily drawn, and no new icons featured bullets.

    Pain Train - Fixed the blank space to the right of it.

    Homewrecker - Fixed the blank space to the right of it.

    Tribalman's Shiv - Fixed the blank space to the right of it.

    Scotsman's Skullcutter - Fixed the blank space to the right of it.

    UNUSED, BUT SUBMITTED TO VALVE FOR POSSIBLE FUTURE USAGE:

    Backburner (Style 1) - Previously non-existant. It's design is based off the modified flamethrower icon earlier in the list.

    Backburner (Style 2) - Previously non-existant. It's design is based off the original flamethrower icon, should you choose not to incorporate the modified one.

    Force a Nature - Previously non-existant. I designed it to blend in with the Scattergun icon as best as I could.

    Natascha - Previously non-existant. It's a modified version of my new minigun icon, with a yellow ammo belt to make it quickly recognisable.

    Max's Pistol (Lugermorph) - Previously non-existant. I designed it to blend in with the Pistol icon as best as I could.

    Sam's Revolver (The Big Kill) - Previously non-existant. I designed it to blend in with the Revolver icon as best as I could.

    Reflect Headshot Arrow Kill - Previously non-existant. A blend between the reflected arrow kill icon, and the arrow headshot icon.

    Reflect Flaming Headshot Arrow Kill - Previously non-existant. A blend between the reflected arrow kill icon, the arrow headshot icon, and the flaming arrow kill icon.

    Reflect Flaming Arrow Kill - Previously non-existant. A blend between the reflected arrow kill icon, and the flaming arrow kill icon.

    Reflect Stun Ball Kill - Previously non-existant. Based off other reflected projectile kill icons.

    Flaming Headshot Arrow Kill - Previously non-existant. A blend between the arrow headshot icon, and the flaming arrow kill icon.

    Ubersaw (taunt kill) - Previously non-existant. I designed it to look like the Huntsman taunt kill icon, using the Medics arm and a spikey effect to add impact.

    The only thing that irks me is how the fire looks different on the flamethrower and backburner, other than that the entire thing is absolutely perfect.

    I kinda agree. Might make a crappy webpage which generates a text file containing only the icons you want, but that'll take time. Sounds possible though right?
