How does one initiate Catwoman's missions?
How does one initiate Catwoman's missions?
I think they are automatic.
Play Batman's story missions up until something happens to him that requires the story to shift to Selina Kyle.
I've been playing as Batman up until The Mad Hatter and I've only had about 2 instances where I was Catwoman.
I only played as catwoman for about two missions...very short ones at that. Once you beat the game you can switch between the two.
Sounds about right. You only play as her for, I dunno, three or four missions throughout the course of the story, and all of them are pretty short
That wasn't the real one though was it? I'm pretty sure that was just kind of a second one they made. I don't think the real Lazarus pit is underneath Gotham.
There are only four in total. edited: my edit was ninja'd
Its deep under gotham, but the tubes spill the liquid into a pool, electricity from lightning gives it some oomph apparantly, but based on the wonder city stories, it still has wierd ass properties if you dont use the lightning.
Edited:
You can.
When the Joker seems to be on death's door at the beginning of the game, you can eavesdrop on his goons wondering what will happen if he kicks it. They unanimously agree that the only thing keeping Harley Quinn safe is the Joker's personal influence, and upon realizing that start arguing if they should kill her when the Joker passes or rape THEN kill her.
I'm the goddamn Batman.
Like I said above, they talk tough. She's keeping them in line, and 'Joker's Influence' isn't great enough to keep an entire empire in line when he's on his death bed alone. The devs themselves said that Harley has become very militaristic and ruthless. I mean, if they really thought they could take over, they'd do it while The Joker was almost dead. In fact, that would cement them as the leader, if they took advantage of The Joker's sickness to take over. They're just acting like they're tough shit.
I don't remember her actually being in the game that much. It seems like she was barely in Arkham City to me.
Wanna know what I hate in this game so far? The countering and the god damn shields. "i'm gonna shield bash you... i killed batman woot".
Buy the upgrade that lets you destroy weapons when your combo is high enough.
I hate the stun batons. They fuck me up.
And then buy the upgrade that decreases the combo requirement for doing special moves like that.
The grapnel disarm is great for getting rid of them.
Grapnel can disarm all weapons except shields, I think.
Edited:
I usually get the critical strike one first.
No actually. The grapnel disarm doesn't disarm shields or stun batons. At least, that's how it was in Riddler's Revenge, for me. You can get rid of guns, clubs, and knives with it, but stun batons and shields are immune.
Beat it. Think it took me less than 8 hrs.
So I just took another print screen of some concept art. It fit the whole screen, so I could see it being used as a desktop background.
Enjoy.
That said, I ran into something of a glitch earlier. You know the side mission where you need to blow up the TITAN vat thingies? I sprayed one that I had already blown up with some explosive gel and detonated it, and got 500 XP for my trouble.
I've purchased 22 of 27 WayneTech upgrades (only things available are one each of Catwoman's armor upgrades) and finished some 220 of the Riddler's challenges, and I'm only 10 % through the story so far. And I've played for some 25 hours. I try.![]()
With doing some of the side-quests along with the main, it took me a little more than 10. I am completely satisfied with that, especially because of New game+ and being able to continue where I left off after the main campaign ended.
Great minds think alike, a few days ago I posted the same picture in the General media thread along with a few more of the concept art images.
I don't think another game would work without Joker. For me at least, his presence is what makes the games stand out, and overall makes the game so much more enjoyable to play through. Without him the game takes itself way too seriously, to the point where it's just awkward given the ridiculous/supernatural circumstances. As RPS said recently, Joker serves as the only realization within the game of the craziness of the events that are unfolding, in addition to being the only one with a sense of humour. I can't see myself enjoying another Arkham game if he doesn't return.
I completed everything in the game in 25 hours. If you seriously spent time repeatedly blowing up a vat, you wasted a lot of time.
You can probably 100% the game in about 20-25 hours of play time if you rush it, but I've been taking my time with everything. I'm having a hard time getting enough Riddler Secrets to confront the Riddler for the final time , which is taking up the majority of my time.
I have a question. Is there enough XP to upgrade everything? I felt great when in AA I had all Batman's upgrades. This game also has Catwoman and I noticed there is much more to upgrade. Is it possible to get it all?
Very much so.
You should have pretty much everything by the end of the game if you do a reasonable amount of Riddler stuff, side missions, and stop to beat up some guys every now and then.
Awesome. Thanks for the answer.
I wasn't sitting there repeatedly blowing up the already destroyed vat for hours on end, dude. I only sprayed it because I was messing around. And then bats started flying out of it and I got 500 XP and I was like "What the heck just happened?"
As you've all probably guessed, I've been taking my sweet time. I always go around the entire city and beat up all of the inmates after every single completed objective. Every time Batman is threatened with imminent death (like when the Joker was going to blow up the bell tower with him in it) , I always just wait and see what happens. And since three nights ago, I've been focusing almost entirely on Riddler challenges. I am in no real hurry.
I'm not too far into Arkham City but it has some of the best voice acting in any game this year. I have four games in my GOTY: Skyrim, Portal 2, Deus Ex, and Arkham City. The more I keep playing Arkham City the harder it is getting to pick anything else as a GOTY.
Arkham City is certainly one of the best games in the last few years at least.
i was saving up for arkham city and i was very très happy i got enough money to buy it until i noticed i was €10 short
FFFFFFFFFFFFUCK
Have you looked at sites like GreenManGaming? You won't get a game box, but if you really want to play it you can just buy a serial.
It was 25 dollars on Origin on monday.
How does that help him now?
Origin sucks.
Steam is dominate.
I got it for literally $1 through Onlive. I believe the promotion is still going on where the first game you get through their service is just one dollar.
It may help him now because since it was onsale at one store, another store may follow suit soon, perhaps steam this weekend.

I agree, but it was half off.

Lol, Cloud bases gaming.
