The mosins look like paintball guns![]()
Why, tell me why???????? WHY, GOD!!!???
Right where did I put the thermite and dry ice...
Cause I'm going to find whoever did that to those poor mosins and blow him up.
I think it was an MG42 at one point.
Is it even possible to convert an MG42 to be mag-fed?
Aw hell naw.

plastic, plastic, plastic...... yuck.
Edited:
plus the eotech is backwards
...backwards?
are you fuckin high
whups, didnt mean backwards. but isnt that the most plasticy, grossest, !#$% up gun youve ever seen that didnt need an eotech?
no
):
EDIT:
D:
What is that optic?
NSP-3A NOD's iirc
Well there's a Russian optic on it at least.
I'm still not happy at all about the AK-200.
There's an ACOG and backup iron sights on it when the PSO-1 and regular AK sights are just as good. Why did you do this Russia? The only AK that an ACOG looks good on is the RK-95.
nevermind
Even the Russian army are putting eotechs on guns.
Edited:
Modernisation is going to happen like it or not.
About damn time somebody mentions Killzone
Why is the magazine so fat
It's a 60 round mag. Instead of making it longer they made it fatter.
Ingenious
Wtb airsoft version
I think you already can
combine 2 hi caps???
With a mag like that you could probably just throw it at someones face and cave their skull in.
Oh them Russians.
I don't see what's wrong with the DSR-1.
i don't see the point in some of the hate, of course most of these weapons are ridiculous, but why is it bad to put a plastic stock on an AK, i mean with todays technology we can create plastics with way more beneficial factors than wood (lighter/heavier, more durable, heat resistant, dirt repellant) as far as i'm concerned two exactly the same ak's but one has wood, and one has plastic and a rail, the plastic would be better because nowadays we can alter it in any way, and the rail can only be beneficial, you can always take it off if you really need no sights on it for some reason.
of course wood looks way more jummy, and probably is cheaper. but hating all plastic for that reason is either elitist or cheapskate.
We don't mind plastic (hell, I have a 74M, which has no wood on it) but don't really like rails. I can see their use in the real world, but I'd never get rails on my AK's.
I like plastic better on AK74s, wood works best on most others though. I'm not much of an AK fan though, I just think their pretty.
thats reasonable, but some people in this thread just hate on everything plastic regardless
Sure, but what pains us most is 90% of these guns are used by civilians who just go to the shooting range and shoot off $100 of ammo. They don't need to put all that shit on their gun, it's ugly, and from a purist's perspective (which a lot of this subforum is) they're ruining the AK.
When we see a picture of a Russian soldier that railfucked his AK, we can't really hate him for it, because some of those things could be the difference between life and death.
if you're gonna waste 100$ on ammo every week you might aswell buy the best possible ak don't you :/
That's just it. Since you don't need a massive 5 billion lumen flashlight, western holographic sight, ugly folding foregrip, ugly plastic stock, and lasers all over, there's no reason to have that shit on your gun! Plain and simple. It's not a better AK because you spent more money on attachments than the gun itself. It just makes it ugly, in our eyes.
AK sights are pretty shitty for rifle sights, but as with everything Kalashnikov, they work. As much as I prefer the "classic" AK style, most Russian hardware is in desperate need of an update. The newer AK's will be easier and cheaper to outfit for mission specific environments. Aside from optics, there really isn't much choice in things like lights for the AK series and that's a major downfall, especially in urban operations.
Another major advantage is weight - the rifle is lighter, the accessories are lighter (PSO-1 = 600g, ACOG = 425g, "znich" light = heavy arse, surefire g2 = LIGHT), it's not a lot but every weight saving means less fatigue for a soldier, ever tried skirmishing with a full load of old gear and a full load of more modern gear? As much as I dislike the look, it's time to face the fact that the Russian military need to keep up with the times.
