Perhaps the 16X16 maps?
Some small BF2 maps usually have like one transport or one apache on each team.
Also, I was thinking that for planes, propeller planes would work best. Biggest propeller plane I would go up to is a 3 engine or 4 engine one. Not the giant jet planes. Maybe an executive jet but that's about it.

No, the source engine can only handle a quarter square mile in a map.
A-10 is very slow, so it could probably work too.

I deleted everything in my toybox folders, heck I even deleted the folders themselves, but still no! When I hosted an LAN game it didn't work either. I just don't get why the AH-6 works.
An A-10 would be pretty darn sweet too.

This is just an idea that I'm throwing out there but is it possible to make a "Custom Copter" sort of tab for WAC where it allows you to build a custom helicopter where it would allow you to piece it with weapons of your choice, body selection, optional gunner seat, and 2-5 blade rotor, ect. thinking of it now it would end up being alot like Scars or SBEP just for the customization factors.

Odd little "Bug", in every seat sans the pilot seat the camera behaves... oddly.
Rather than rotating the view, it simply moves itself upwards or downwards, holding the same angle you had when you entered the seat.
I'll chalk it up to addon conflict, even though I'm not getting any Lua errors.
As for critique, I can't really say anything. I only just today realized the removal of the tail rotor induces a tail-spin (I learned it the hard way, hehe), so that's a nice touch. Overall... just keep up the good work?

Could there be a "weapons seats" esque functionality to the passenger seats in the Black Hawk or the other Transport ships? I have had so many cool ideas with the focus of being able to shoot from a passengers position.

Good, the new update fixed everything. But now the MI-28's HUD is gone.
EDIT: The font size of the weapons on the gun camera are freakin' huge!
Can someone give me a tutorial on how to download this and install it? (Kinda new to Gmod, but I have Tortoise with a couple of add-ons installed)

Create a new folder, copy the SVN repository link (http://weadco.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/Addons) and right click the folder -> SVN checkout. Then paste the link into the type field and click Ok. Wait for it to download and extract "WAC Base" and "WAC Helicopter" into steam\steamapps\your_username\garrysmod\garrysmod\ addons

Okay, I got this installed and working but now the thrusters don't work.
Could we get the Combine chopper as a new helicopter?

I got a question, Is it possible to make NPC enter helicopters? I don't know if you can do it with lua, but maybe a module.
You mean that npc's would start controlling the chopper or just become passengers like alyx in ep2?
I started a thread about npc passengers once, but got no response so I don't think it's possible. :(
It is possible. I've worked on a similar project almost a year ago. I wasn't as lua experienced back then so it turned out to be pretty hacky and I didn't really had much time to fix it, so I stopped working on it. Its not really that hard when you think about it. You only have to position the npc before drawing in the seat, make it still, prevent other players from entering the seat and find some kind of animation for the npc to use. Hm..
I seem to be having this problem too, none of the helicopters start up. I can't even open the settings menu for them. I'm re-downloading now just to see if I still have the problem

Just redownloaded, didn't work and the same error. It's weird, the one in the toybox works perfectly.
You know, having a tool for WAC that selects any NPC with Citizen/Soldier skeletons and right-clicking on a transport helicopter and then have them enter it, would be pretty cool. The tool could also include "Make selected NPCs friendly" (which maybe they can attack their own NPCs) and "Make selected NPCs enemies" (which, if they're like citizens, then they turn against you after leaving the helicopter)
