    no combine chopper and no npc choppers for now

    Every time I try to turn on the helicopter, it spams this error "[addons/WAC Helicopter/lua/entities/wac_hc_base/init.lua:499] attempt to perform arithmetic on a nil value"
    Got "WAC Base" installed fro mthe SVN too?

    Hey, can I make some sorta AI with your heli's? I made that when npc is in proximity of a heli it rushes towards the heli, then enters a seat, but now where to go? So I could try to make some kind of AI.

    UH-1 Huey gunship/transport helicopter would be epic. Here is a model: http://www.garrysmod.org/downloads/?a=view&id=91826 OR, you can get permission to use the NeuroPlanes Huey model. Then again, this is only if you take random requests.

    Get this spam any time a UH-60 is spawned. I can start it up fine, but it doesn't accept any control inputs. All other choppers work fine.


    It's a shame there aren't any decent AH-64 models floating around. Would love to see an Apache in this.

    I would like to ask for help.
    How do you correctly put all the required files in the Addons folder?
    Plus, 2 folders from the SVN are not downloaded for some reason (WAC Damage System and WAC Sweps) won't download for some reason. I have put all the correct folders and files in the Addons folder, but when I try and spawn the helicopter, it just shows errors.

    You can either checkout the http://weadco.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/Addons/ svn in the /gmod/gmod/addons folder or create and checkout each individual folder separately (what I did).
    Oh and for the record, I get the "[addons/WAC Helicopter/lua/entities/wac_hc_base/init.lua:499] attempt to perform arithmetic on a nil value" error too.

    Any chance of getting fire-and-forget missiles? The Hellfires are nice and all, but variety is never a bad thing.

    So, I installed all of the WAC Addons, and when I try to spawn ANY helicopter, everything but the Propellers are invisible. Any help?

    Yea i am having the same problem to but it is on all the helicopters though for me its not 622 its 499 and it says "attempt to preform arithmetic on a nil value" i have no clue what to do to fix it. i looked though the lua file and looked at line 499, not sure if that is the actual problem though.

    I think pretty much everyone got that, but something strange though is, that this gets that error, when the toybox version does not, kind of weird dont you think?

    Yea i had downloaded that version and it works fine but when i installed the main files i got the error

    It used to work fine for me, until the seat switching part was added (toybox version), then I started getting the same error as I do in the addon version. I'm guessing thats where the problem is.

    Just updated, still doesn't work, but now I have a different error:

    [@addons/WAC Helicopter/lua/entities/wac_hc_base/init.lua:622] Tried to use a NULL entity!
    Also seems that the helicopter does work in toybox, just not when I had the addon installed.

    Weird how SirMango stopped getting this error but I am now.

    That is weird, are you getting the error for all the helicopters, because I only ever used to get it for the black hawk.

    Black Hawk works now, just doesn't spawn a tail wheel and gives a single lua error relating to the MI-28's Tail Wheel (I'm assuming you're using the same model for both of them)

    This isn't anything you can help with, most likely, but I've tried to configure it to use my joystick... it reverses all inputs but roll, but that's probably the .dll I'm using, or perhaps incompatibility with my joystick (A Saitek AV8R, if that is of any consequence).

    How come when I go to the spawnmenu/utilities/WAC/helicopter, the only option it gives me is the client settings and it has a drop down menu that let's me select either mouse or keyboard. It doesn't let me do anything like swap the yaw/roll or change the controls. and also, when are you gonna fix this error "[addons/WAC Helicopter/lua/entities/wac_hc_base/init.lua:499] attempt to perform arithmetic on a nil value" because i really want to use this awesome addon

    Get yourself an SVN Client like tortoiseSVN, and I'm sure there are some tutorials on how to use it floating around here.

    It's an SVN because he releases frequent, small updates and bugfixes that would require him to spam uploads on garrysmod.org, and it's just generally easier to go into your addons folder and click "SVN Update" than to search the website for updates.
