That is an M2 Carbine. Banana mag, bayonet lug, M2 rear sight, M2 stock. The only thing it has in common with the M1 is that it's semi only

that rear sight was put into service first on the m1a2
bayonet lugs were added on to m1s during arsenal rebuild after WWII
not sure on the stock
could easily be marushin being lazy and using the same stock on m1s and m2s
it's pretty close to a post wwII, early korean war m1

Like all the "1928" Thompsons, which are just M1A1s with a 1928 grip and a drum on it
