Looks guud man.
How are everyone's opinions on the dungeons/instances? I was going to get high enough to do one but I wanted to save the leveling experience until I actually buy the game (assuming I am)
Dungeons are one of my favourite parts of an MMO, though. So what does everyone think of them?
Challenging, good length boss fights, decent mechanics in them.
I played WoW since the second release date and cataclysm felt like a huge disappointed, I can't describe why but I suddenly felt no urge to play any more. I have played rift for a while now and I like it a lot, I am afraid though that in the end it will be so much like WoW, that I'm doing the same thing.
So my questions are: How is pvp, how many battlegrounds will there be, will there be any arena action, how many instances, how is endgame raiding compared to WoW and what kind of hardware do you need to put everything on ultra?
For all who don't know beta schedules:
Beta 6: Planar War
Feb 4th, 18:00 GMT - Feb 7th, 18:00 GMT
Beta 7: Telara the Merciless
Feb 15th, 18:00 GMT - Feb 21nd, 18:00 GMT
Ty for Posting :D i <3 VIP beta.
many errors. Im tired T.T
Check out my character!
Muttan is my rogue(Ranger,Riftstalker,Bard)
Sadly only got her to level 16
There's something that bugs me about this game that I can't quite put my finger on. Apart from the rifts, the world just feels static and sleepy, like nothings really happening.
Beta down in 1 hour.... Im cry, well atleast im VIP (Invited to all betas) Next one is the 2nd to 4th i believe. Knowing them they'll prob extend Since we got some good work done this Phase
Ended beta with a 25 (Full Wool Craft Set) Mage (Pyro - Arcon - Necro),2nd spec ( Arcon - Elementalist - Cholor (My support Class))
Final Screens Of Beta. PM me for 100+ High Res Beta Fottage/Pictures. (wallpaper worthy (IMHO))
And Inglip (He has been Summoned)
Got a Warden to 10 to PVP with warrior bro, was a lot of fun healing, but twice in one game I got hit for 3/4th of my health by a marksman's Deadeye Shot :saddowns:
Inglip has been summoned!
This looks extremely promising as an MMO... How much will it cost when it comes out?
50 reg version, 60 Collector Edition. ( you get pets and special things that make your weapon glow depending on where you preorder it. And the game is amazing.
Dollars? Pounds? Monthly payment?
$50 USD, $60 USD for Collectors, $15 USD monthly fee.
Wait so the beta is ending?
Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck was just about to download it
Another one in six days, so don't worry!
I figured it out.
The game is good, I like it, expectantly the PvP in the game is balanced, I've beta tested tested this game all day, on #2, #4, and #5. The game to me is similar to vanilla wow mixed with Warhammer Online, it just need a dungeon finder so I don't have to spam the chat for Iron Tomb or some other dungeon, and I'll give it a while to wait for a website that has tons of nice builds for me to follow and to try out. Crafting needs to be improved.
So can I still get an invite from somebody, or is it too late?
I don't see anything particularly drawing me to it, but doesn't hurt to try it..
lol, sign up and wait to get invited, or get Trion to give you VIP access.
You think they will still be fresh lol
Well I applied a code posted a few pages back to my Trion account, so I guess I just have to wait and see.
I can't sign up for the beta, damn.
Just got a VIP beta key, signed up, now i'm just waiting to be invited to the next beta event. :)
Yeah, one word of advice for new people coming into the Beta this weekend. Ignore trolls, arguments about WoW, What was the first MMO, Stuff being a Rip off and normal 12 bitching Behavior. Usually i /leave *** cause it gets really bad.
Is this another themepark MMO or does it offer something new? I haven't followed the game much but last time I heard everyone saying it was the best thing since WoW, I tried it and it disappointed me, and the name was Aion.
I politely asked 3 times in chat, once a day, how the game was different from WoW. Except for one person (who, coincidentally, actually could type correctly) I got typical fanboy answers like "It just is" and "The PVP takes more skill than WoW". One Guy though informed me that at end level there was going to be a large emphasis on world PVP objectives, something which Blizzard has neglected to do with WoW, for the most part.
