If true, it makes me sad to think the family probably never found out.

Goddamn its quiet
Ever since the static started I feel strangely happy.![]()
We are all going to die!!!!!!!!!
Static bursts back. D:
Those bursts of static again....
:ninja:
Again?
No clack this time. Weird.
Jesus what was that
Oh fuck what's that constant pulsing sound? D:
I peed a little.
Edited:
Just heard a clack
Oh shit it's changing again to a constant pulsing static sound.
Edited:
and now it just stopped as soon as I post this...
Sad if true.
Im starting to think thats some kind of interference, i dunno
fuck guys I didnt listen to it, but you'r freaking me out!
Listen to it it's soothing.
Hardly soothing, it's making it hard for me to concentrate on my work lol. But yet... I can't stop listening... waiting to be one of the few to hear a real broadcast. :P
While it may look that way to the untrained eye, I have made a tactical map to show you all the severity of this situation.

Key:
Red: Some form of fence, more then likely electrified.
Blue: Snipers, hidden throughout the forest and strategically placed on rooftops.
Yellow: Mines
Orange: Missile silos.
No need to fear however, our agent "A" clearly marked on Google maps- has infiltrated this radio transmission station in an attempt to gather more intel.
wah...
Sounds like a quiet cruise ship horn.
But sir! The russians can access google maps too!
Anyone else find this oddly relaxing, yet at the same time disturbing?
Did it just miss a beep?
It sort of reminds me of the old Foghorn at Nash Point, west of where I live. Before GPS and radar and things, that foghorn would be able to be heard from twenty miles away in Barry...
Interesting, the station is probably some sort of secret Russian military communication deal.
The Soviet Union covered up all unsuccessful cosmonauts so there's a good chance it is true.
Wow, this drives the visualisation on Linux Movie Player batshit crazy, it's showing the static as one type and the bloop as a rhythm, it's pretty cool. :D
what exactly did I miss,my mom dragged me along to visist my grandpa and I had to practice piano more....
just read through the whole thread, shit seems to be getting real.

then facepunch stays up for three days listening to it then nothing happens
Woah that's loud.
Everybody into the Vaults!
God damn it just got really fucking loud. To the point I actually threw my headphones off before turning it down.
I'll bet if it is used for communication that the volume has a lot to do with message encryption...
But with this much "publicity" on it do you really think this would be used for "secret" military shit? It's probably something research related.
I'm going to go find my dad and kill some super mutants after this.
I might kick the habit in a few minutes and finish off and go to sleep. It's 1:32 here. D':
Holy shit I just jumped out of my skin. I think my dad fell over something in the hall, after an hour and a half of the same buzz, that fucking scared me half to death.
Holy shit,
My internet cut out. but right before I got what sounded like a metal shopping cart going over bumps from the signal, then the spurts of static in between the main horn sound. Did anyone else hear the carriage sound?
It's most likely some form of over the horizon radio transmitter, possibly a leftover from the cold war missile detection systems.
VLC Media Player -> This Radio Stream -> Audio -> Visualizations -> Goom
