Yes, I know that. But I'm actually trying to kick gnolls, kobolds, and slimes. All the better would be to kill them quicker.
I know the titles don't give much but why not get them?

I got a bunch of those titles. You just have to figure out how many times to hit them before kicking, in order to get them all in 1 - 2 kicks. Like L-L-Kick
Titles give a ton when you add them all up. The easiest title that gives the biggest amount is kicking like 50 blood jellies (in Ainle)

Yeah, I count as well. Basically I'd like to make it go by quicker though. Like, kick in 2 hits instead of 3 on blood jellies or something like that.
So far I have 250 gnolls left. Not sure how many kobolds or blobs I have left.
And now that I'm bothering to read other posts, I come on occasionally. I guess I just never encounter you.
Above all else, does anyone know if combat mastery will increase kicking damage or just normal slashes? I guess the normal slashes could help, but I'm still curious about the kicking.

There are classes, but the classes are tied to a certain character.

I told myself I would stop playing until Karok came out but I recently started again and hit level 26 in about a 2 days with Fiona. It was alright. Now that I know he's coming out soon I guess I will wait again.

Ok, so, my friends and I are very curious about this game. Looks totally badass. What we want to know is, just for regular gameplay, how much is this going to cost us? I know there's no sub fee or anything, but I understand there's some sort of token system for getting into battles?

The token system is gone now, and it never cost anything anyway.
The game costs $0 to play. What costs money is customization (underwear, hairstyle, tattoos, etc) and enhancing your weapon. Enhancing is free, but from +6 to +10 it has a chance to reset to +0, and above that has a chance to destroy your weapon. You can buy enhancement runes, which eliminate the chance of resetting. I got a +8 with free enhancing, but buying runes guarantees a +10. This only matters for level cap though (and still is completely unnecessary)... until then you'll just keep getting new weapons.
Basically the cash shop is entirely optional. Especially since this is a co-op game, so just getting a decent weapon is all that matters as long as you're a decent player. Many of the best players in this game make a point of never spending anything in the cash shop.

Start playing it on the 16th when Karok comes out. Also, this game is GREAT fun with friends. Bosses get pretty finicky later on so tactics are a pretty big deal.
Anyone else feel this game's underrated? I think it's one of the best free games out there right now, albeit a bit grindy.

I enjoyed the game for a bit. But I just can't take the grind. It's something I play for a week or so. Then take a long break.

It does. It's pretty epic gameplay, and the cutscenes are somewhat emotional.
