Oh god the ESXi installer is so sexy I could fuck a Zip-drive right now
No install method something whatever
And I pressed enter.
Now I have reboot so I can get the error message so I can Google it.
That's one of my favorite things about linux you can actually see what the fuck is going on during an install. If you choose to of course you can just ignore it but it's usually interesting. I installed a windows game on here with wine and the fuck if I know where it installed to it's not anywhere in .wine and I can launch it from the mounted iso but I need to find the exe to replace it with the nocd crack because I have no disc drive. I think it's hidden so I can't really search for it with locate or what ever.
Fuck it, I'm plugging this USB HDD into a Linux system and fucking dd'ing the image to the drive.
I downgraded syslinux4 to syslinux3
Welcome to the VMware ESXi 5.0.0 installation
well, we allow gay marriage~~
I had to open up Maagiline's post just to check the context of that post.
vSphere client installation takes longer than the ESXi install.
So, wingless said ESXi uses like almost no memory at all.
Have a nice, big cup of fuck you.
Funny enough, if you go to configuration and memory, it says System: 12,2MB
I have no idea what the fuck that's supposed to mean.
I think it might be dicking around with caching or something, I haven't got a fucking clue.
I'll look into it.
Wingless, stop fucking sending me a single penny to my paypal you cunt.
"how dare you give me money"
I want to send you 2 pennies.
Because you are awesome.
Someone send me pennies on paypal :(
Like hundreds of pennies
What would be a good Linux distro for an Asus Aspire One as media center ?
Its has An Intel Atom N270 @ 1.60 GHZ and 1 GB DDR2 @ 266 MHZ and it uses Intel graphics.
Well, whatever. I did a speed test, got 32 down and 24 up.
someone, sell me a videocard please
I need a 56xx/66xx or better thx
My uncle gave me his PNY 9800GT 512MB saying it wasn't working right. He doesn't want it back as he's already replaced it.
It had copious amounts of dust and dried thermal goo. Cleaning it vigorously and adding some MX-4 fixed it right up.
Probably gonna sell it.
6600GTs are cheap, get a couple of those.
I mean you could get two or three for the price of a 9800GT I think
If you want i can send ps3 gpu if i can desoldur wiv hairdryitr
it ise reealitey in th naem so it betur
I still can't get over how badly Microsoft fucked up the security on the original Xbox.
Computer Science History 101:
In the beginning, there was Intel.
Intel made CPUs.
Some other companies also made CPUs.
When you turned on a CPU back in those times, it would either start at top of memory or start of memory.
Intel had a feature where if you went over the top of memory, it would roll over to the start of memory (0x00000000)
This was for compatibility reasons.
Xbox development systems used AMD CPUs.
AMD CPUs did not have this legacy-functionality because AMD was a much newer company, they didn't need that functionality, so why build it?
Nearing production, Microsoft switched the Xbox to Pentiums.
When an Xbox panics, it drives over the top of memory to crash itself. This is so you can crash the system but still be able to blink the LEDs on the device to tell the user something really, really bad just happened.
Crashing the system also disables the really, really super-duper-secret part of memory that has all kinds of security code Microsoft didn't want people to see.
Well, when they switched to Intel CPUs, that broke, and nobody realized that.
So you'd put some instructions at the start of memory that say "hey, jump into this super secret part of memory that Microsoft doesn't want me to see", and then crash the Xbox.
(Disclaimer: I dumbed it down as much as I could)
does anyone do a lot of game recording and can help me?
pm me if you do
I'm having a strange issue, where 90% of my games aren't working (usually not launching, or crashing at startup). I've tried updating graphics drivers, DirectX, etc, but still, none of my games seem to work.
This started when I reinstalled Windows (because I got a new SSD)
Anyone got a solution?
Is there a way to connect to internet through a LAN router port?
I only have a router which the internet provider gave me, and it's wireless only, and I don't have money to buy a new one
Nevermind me I am a total computer illiterated idiot, threat this post as content
