Keyboards come with lots of functions nowadays, but what part of the keyboard is the one you use the most, and should therefor seek to retain in good quality? The keys, obviously. So logically you should spend the most money on good switches, I.E you should get a mechanical keyboard. Keyboards may have all the bells and whistles but if they're rubber-domed you're gonna wear it down faster and you'll be forced to get a new one regardless. Whereas with mechanical switches you'll be reminded of your keyboard's longevity and awesomeness with every single keystroke.
Huh, 77 WPM here. During testing I realized that I mostly type without glancing at the keys, but I felt that when it came to my right hand I almost solely used the index finger. That's a little jarring, gonna be hard to change.
